A Good Allrounder

My baby is 8.5 mths old now and this pram has served us really well. Perfect for a newborn baby as it's quite snuggly looking inside and has a good recline. Only problem was I wanted to look at my new bundle all the time but the pram is only forward facing - wish I'd got a reversible pram in this regard. Large shopping basket was a definate drawcard as was its easy manoeuvrability. As the name suggests, it is great over rough terrain. Metal recline lever on the backrest makes reclining a quick & easy action but does add a bit to the overall weight of the pram. The moccha latte fabrics are strong and easy to clean and it comes with lots of accessories. The sun shade is fantastic as it provides great coverage over most of my baby when she's in the upright position. Like most 3 wheelers it doesn't fit through all checkouts. Another downpoint is that when folded it takes up most of our car boot even though we have a good size boot. I was also surprised when putting it together that most of the parts were made of plastic and therefore can seem a little delicate. I guess this helps keep the weight down.Pros
Great handling on smooth or rough terrainGreat seat recline
Huge shopping basket - easily accessible
Reasonably priced
Very plasticky
Cons
Heavy to liftQuite bulky when folded
Front bar can fall off when folding & unfolding & cannot be put back on when child is in upright postion.
The quick release wheels were hard to assemble at first - we broke the pins in the process but the shop provided new ones for us.
Seat position not reversible.
Has no toddler seat attachment.
I had one but the wheels fell off...

I'm a granny now and prams have changed in the 20 years or so since I bought my last one. I bought this for my grandson. My daughter loved the look of it. I found it to be dangerous as the front wheel kept falling off. The 1st time I thought maybe it was my fault, maybe I hadn't put it on properly. It happened a couple of times more and that was it. I have not used it since. I found it to be unstable as though it was going to tilt sideways. To go up the slightest of steps like over a door jam, you have to make sure you use both hands to tilt. Should be banned, waste of money, I don't feel as though I can sell it on to anyone else knowing how dangerous it is. So it's parked up in the shed. It may come in useful for something one day. I replaced it with a four wheeler.Pros
can't think of any, hard to get larger items in and out of basket.Wheels fall off
Unstable

We purchase our Terrain, last year, and in the shop it preformed really well, smooth easy to fold down and store, the wheels were easy to put on. Then with in the first week I noticed that the wheels at the back were squeaking, and much to my dismay on the trip to the shops, the strollers wheel came off, much to my horror and my partners annoyance (but he was laughing) After a few more accidents, I rang the shop and took it in and the lady fixed it (apparently I hadnt pushed hard enough) That was the stroller fixed, then my partner started using it, he runs alot and he found this impossible because of the speed wobbles the stroller picked up, even when the wheel was locked in. And also now that we have 2 children none of the accessories are available for it, no one stocks them anymore, so now I have a stroller that I cant add too. And also my recliner sticks as well, much to my eldest childs disgust (when he is sleeping) Plus the rain cover we have is really hard to get on.Pros
Good storage tray, and zipper pocket at back.Cons
Wobbly WheelsWheels that can fall off
Rain cover is hard to put on. recliner sticks
Cant find accessories for it
Looks can be deceiving!

We purchased this pram mainly for the quick release wheels - so we could fit it into my small car at the time. What a mistake! We have had nothing but trouble with the quick release wheels. You only have to knock the clip and the rear wheel begins to come off! Now 1 Year on and I have had enough of the pram because of the wheels, the unstability of the pram when turning sharply or going around a corner on a hill. The hood comes half off when you are trying to remove the pram from the boot of the car, or the latch that is meant to keep it compact comes away. So as you are trying to get 12kg from the boot it is trying to fall apart and unfold at the same time. I do not think it promotes good posture in toddlers, my daughter looks very uncomfortable trying to sit upright, laying down was no problems when she was smaller. Now that she is 81cm long her feet hang over the edge of the pram sitting or lying down.Pros
The colour - mocca latte very nice, the big shopping basket underneath and the big pocket on the hood. Material is easy clean but too hot for warmer weather. Came with rain bug/sun protector.Cons
The whole pram, not a happy consumer with this pram and would not recommend it. Spend your money on a different brand and do lots of research first.Dodgy Three Wheeler: Don't get hooked by cheapnes

I bought this pram to compliment my more robust Emmaljunga. When I wheeled it around the shop it felt so good and the price seemed too good to be true... but you know what they say about things like that! (ie it was too good to be true and now I believe we wasted the money). My first concern was how "plasticy" it all seemed. After my solid steel Emmaljunga the SteelCraft (should be called PlasticCraft!) just seemed like a poor quality toy! Sure enough it wasn't long before i has problems with the lap bar hinge... I think my baby warped it out of shape with too much tugging and now it won't stay in place. Second concern was that there seemd to be no real designated place for my child's feet to rest. My child (on the smaller side of average) hadn't even reached 18 months when people were saying to me: "oh look, he's nearly outgrown the pram! His feet were dangling either side of the front wheel cover. Next concern was that I was starting to tip over very regularly, and I mean daily! As we live in a hilly area ever time I took my little boy out for a walk it would tip over if I turned up a hill or sometimes even if the footpath was affected by tree-roots. Sure the pram performed beautifully on perfectly flat/smooth supermarket floor but I think a pram should be more versatile than that! yet another concern was when I accidentally bumped the front wheel (usually when trying to squeeze through doorways0 and the wheel release clip would hit the door and almost unhinge the entire wheel! For me that is of huge concern... it was only that I noticed it starting to come off that I stopped and put it back on properly... imagine if i began running for a train ie got up some speed! Incredibly dangerous! Finally my child actually decided he didn't like riding in it anymore so i packed it away. Have stuck with my Emmaljunga (which he adores and will happily ride in all day) and never used it again!Pros
Performs well on perfectly smooth surfaces.Manuevers well in crowds.
"sun roof" style visibility flap.
Good storage for purse/mobilephone/etc at back of seat.
Narrow enough to fit through standard checkout aisle.
Cons
Poor overall quality: too much plastic! Two serious safety issues: tipping over and front wheel disengagement.
Poor foot rest arrangment.
Tricky to adjust reclining seat.
Lap rest bar flimsy... broken by baby tugging.
Child not happy/comfortable in it.

I chose this pram to replace the Swivelrite Deluxe that I had returned twice for repair. I was given a credit and decided on the Terrain. I have been happy with the pram until now, 6 weeks in, when it has a lot of movement in the rear axle between the wheels. The wheelbase is narrower than other 3-wheelers which makes it a little better when shopping (I still can't fit through a lot of checkouts) however I have noticed that if you turn the pram too sharply it can tip with the baby in it. If you are mindful of this you wont have a problem - I've done it once only (and he didn't fall out!).
I have also found the layback mechanism sometimes sticks making it quite frustrating when you are trying to recline a sleeping baby.
I also found that if you turn too sharply the pram can tip on it's side due to the wheel base being narrower than other
Pros
Easy to pushComfortable for baby
Folds compactly
Great size basket with zips on the side so if baby is sleeping you can get to what's in the basket without waking him/her.
Cons
Can tip if pram is turned sharplyRecline mechanism sticks (sometimes)
Has play in the rear axle (may just be mine is a lemon)
