Love and Hate relationship

Reviewed by: Anonymous user, Mar 26, 2011

General Review

I had a Phil & ted and needed something lighter and more compact for our roadtrips and overseas plane trips. Bought this stroller as it was recommended by the lady in the shop (she wasn't pushy and was quite fair with comments of other strollers).

I love the handles and the the stylish look of the pram. The basket is quite generous but can be difficult to access when the baby is on the lay flat position. There isn't much to hate of the stroller EXCEPT the depth of the seat and the harness.

I put my 8month old in the stroller (he's not a tiny baby either) and he just kept slipping down the seat!! If he's not clipped in, he would have landed on the ground many times!! The design of the harness is a little silly in my opinion. Unless your baby is super chunky, the harness between the crotch is very loose..that's why they kept slipping downwards! Very frustrating for me to keep adjusting my baby in the stroller!

Pros

Great ergonomic handles
Big basket space
Easy fold mechanism
Big back pocket for storage like your wallets and phone

Cons

Depth of seat a little shallow
Bad design of the harness (the middle crotch harness is too long even when it's on the shortest setting)

Love it!

General Review

Absolutely love the BabyLove Adventurer stroller! It was a bit of an impulse buy out of desperation but I wouldn't change it for the world!
It is so lush, versatile and stylish...definetely not your average umberella stroller.

Pros

- Almost full recline (with recline latch as opposed to buttons on the frame or pull cord)
- Padded fabric
- Adjustable leg rest
- Sun canopy with peek-a-boo window (sophisticaed pattern under sun canopy adds style)
- Turned in heavy duty foam handles for smooth turn
- Easy to push, turns on a dime
- Good size under-basket
- Storage pocket on back of pram (x2)
- Lockable front wheels
- Link brakes (push one and both wheels engage
- Available in red/white or grey/white
- Locks when folded for easy storage (unclip to unlock)
- 2 step umberella fold
- Comes with rain cover
- Definetely a 'luxury' umberella stroller sporting the european look.

Cons

- Pram tips back if bags hanging off handles as with most strollers
