Best thing we bought

General Review

Our gecko has been used everyday, taken everywhere: across snow, sand, up and down mountains, thrown into boots, on planes, everywhere we go it goes!
It can turn on a pin and is a smooth ride, my bub can sleep for hours in that thing (both basinette and seat mode).
I love that it is narrow and nifty...it can fit down supermarket checkouts without any problems.
I think most of all is that we have found it to be really durable. we have thrown that thing around and it has no sign of wear or slowing down.

Just wish they made a double! :)

Pros

lifestyle friendly (can be used anywhere and everywhere)

light

durable

comfy for bubs and easy for parents to manouvere (even getting on and off trams is a breeze)

Cons

price!

seriously this is the only fault we have with it! :))

Mine broke too after 14 months

General Review

We have had the handle safety lock break on us on 2 occasions, so the handle folds forward 45 deg when you are lifting the pram up stairs, or the handle drops down to the floor when you go to raise the front wheels to go over a curb. Also the front shocks are squeaking. We reported this in August on the website (as part of the warranty conditions) But its October and although they sent the chassis in October, they only sent one of the wheels. Eventually rang the European Service team, they are 'very busy and have lots of other happy customers'. You pay alot for the stroller and when things go wrong, they take 8 weeks to resolve a safety issue. Even worse is that we live on the 1st floor without a lift. So we have to take the baby out and leave the chassis downstairs, then either leave the baby in the apartment alone or leave the chassis at the bottom of the stairs. Worse thing is if this has happened after 14 months and its the same design. When its out of its 2 year warranty its probably going to do the same thing and we will be left with an expensive stroller that can only be pushed around a mall...

Pros

My partner likes it because alot of celbs have a bugaboo

Cons

Quality Pram. Good value. Recommended.

General Review

Why does the Chameleon get such great user reviews on here and the Gecko get pretty ordinary ones?

It's almost exactly the same pram people.

Minus the adjustable handle and the grab bar, plus slightly lighter to boot.

Also considerably cheaper than the Chameleon.

It's a good pram.
Moves and steers very easily.
Light, sturdy, safe.
Bub loves it.

I have the optional wheeled travel bag, which is fantastic for airline travel.

It's good value for what you get.
Like anything, you get what you pay for.
Buy a cheap pram and you get a piece of junk that makes your like more difficult than it can be.

Pros

Sturdy, light, easy to push

Cons

Have to take the seat off to fold it.

Kind of big when folded.

My tyres leak. Even after having the tubes replaced which took an outrageous three months, they still leak slightly.

Nice, but not perfect despite expense

A nice system, but I reckon the Hauck Infinity has the edge slightly in terms of quality and design and it is half the price

Pros

Light, well designed, funky,

Cons

handle height not adjustable (other Bugaboo models are). Check that you are comfortable with the height before buying.

price 9not not all accessories included)

Not all fabric is removable for washing

seat must be removed before collapsing

Love Bug...

General Review

I find it funny when people describe the gecko as a "simple stroller" or say that it has a "minimalist" design. Although it may not come with every bell and whistle like the Cameleon, what most do not know is that it actually REPLACED the frog, along with the cameleon, as a newly refined option. I can actually get up shallow stairs with this stroller! Simple is not the word I would use to describe. Its the smoothest push for mom and ride for baby-that's the most important thing. It is easy to use and versatile, sophisticated in looks ( I get a lot of compliments on this stroller) and the underseat bag is a better size than most strollers that followed the bugaboo design but were cheaper in price. I LOVE this bug...you will too!

Pros

Smooth push, turns on a dime, great all-inclusive features. Cool design!

Cons

The only con is that to adjust the seat position on the Gecko, it has to be done under the seat. But you don't do it too many times during a walk, etc so its really not a hassle.
