- Detailed Quinny Buzz Review
| Manufacturers description |
Revolutionary new pushchair that springs open at a touch is sure to create a "Buzz". Any parent who has stood in the rain, child in one hand, grappling to unfold a pushchair with the other, will be delighted with a new pushchair/travel system that unfolds at a touch. The Quinny Buzz uses gas spring technology, which anyone who has ever used an adjustable office chair will be familiar with. Highly compact when folded, the Buzz springs into full size in seconds with virtually no effort. Beautifully-designed and stylish to look at, this is likely to be on every mum's "must buy" list in the coming year. The three-wheeled Buzz has a mass of features to meet every parent's needs:

I love the look of the Buzz. It's such a funky design and sure turns a few heads when out and about. Quite easy to manouver and a smooth ride on rough terrain. I also purchased the shopping basket and find it very handy. Although it is very easy to unfold it is actually quite difficult to fold. It requires two hands to depress the buttons, which are very stiff, at the same time as pushing the seat closed and requires a bit of strength and getting use to.Pros
*funky design*smooth ride
*easy to unfold
*easy to manouver
Cons
*heavy*difficult to fold
*expensive
Not at all manoeuvrable after it gets muddy

Living in a semi-rural area, we bought the Quinny Buzz to use round the town and also in the local park and countryside paths, mainly due to the promise of robustness and high manoeuvrability. Although a great pram in many respects, the front wheel really lets it down. The first time we got it muddy, it never swivelled properly again, despite regular attempts at cleaning and oiling. The back wheels have coped well off-road, except for a couple of punctures, but the constant sticking of the front wheel means the pushchair steers like an out-of-control supermarket trolley and we have to fight to direct it at all, even on the street. (We would love Quinny to produce an "Offroading front wheel" attachment we could buy as an accessory for all-terrain walks, but annoyingly they don't seem to have the facility on their website for customers to contact them or provide product feedback.)Pros
Easy folding, robust frame, carrycot is huge. Much better storage now we have purchased the shopping basket. Also works well as a baby-walker if the seat is taken off, as the baby/toddler can hold on to the back of the frame as if they are handlebars and walk along behind. The extendable handle is very useful.Cons
It simply can't cope with muddy conditions, particularly as the front wheel mechanism isn't designed to be cleanable or maintainable, so wouldn't recommend this for off-road use in the British climate! The folding mechanism is stiff and takes some getting used to. The wide wheel base causes access difficulties in some shops and as it doesn't fold flat, it isn't easily transportable on trains or buses, so not ideal for urban use either. You have to be careful with the brakes, as they sometimes take a few pushes on the lever to engage.Great but a little heavier than I thought

We have had the buzz for 3 months. Its great. It turns on a sixpence, its easy and smooth to "drive" Once the initial stiffness has died down it is easy to assemble for the car etc.Its so much better than many chairs we see that cannot manouver in tight spaces.
Pros
compact designHigly manauverable
easy to take apart
Cons
a little heavier then my wife would like to be liftinginto the boot.Loving it!

I highly recommend the Quinny Buzz pram. My son is now 6 months old and we started off with the bassinet attachment which was great. It was easy to remove from the frame with just the touch of two buttons and was very comfortable. We are now using the seat attachment which I love. It has a good sized sun shade (hood) and looks great. I love being able to have my baby face me. The pram itself is very easy to use.I bought the footmuff and the shopping basket. The footmuff is nice and cosy and the shopping basket is very useful.
Its nice pram to push and I love the bag that comes with it. I like not having to carry around a big nappy bag all the time.
I love my Buzz and I'm so glad I bought it. The Buzz is by far the best pram I've ever owned!
Pros
ReversibleLarge seat
Comfortable for baby
Tall handle
Nice to push
Buzz Bag
Looks good
Cons
Can't think of any at the moment!I can't fault this pram

I love my Buzz!!!With the shopping basket accessory it is now the perfect pram for me.
You can use the shopping basket with the Buzz box at the same time, so shopping goes in the basket and the Buzz box is used as a nappy bag (and extra storage for shopping).
Pros
I love the look of this pram.Baby can sit either facing you or facing away from you.
Fine for walking on all surfaces.
Cons
None to speak of.Still hungry for more reviews? Read the in depth Strollers and Prams Quinny Buzz Review
