Great Stroller for Travelling
Reviewed by: Carolyn Lamb-Miller from SE Qld, Apr 12, 2010General Review
I bought this stroller when I went to NZ last month, and found it great keeping my 18 month in it right up until we boarded the plane. It was very easy to push/steer (which I see some people didn't find in the 2007 model) and I am fussy about these things!
The layback function is a bit awkward (you have to unclick 4 separate clips), but is far enough for baby to sleep.
There is much more protection at the sides and from the hood than there is on the earlier backpack model. Something that was a huge consideration when buying this pram.
It comes with a rain cover, which came in very handy when it was cold and windy!
The model I bought came with a mesh bag on the back which doubled the storage space! It definately isn't a shopping stroller, but with the underseat basket, the pocket on the back of the seat, and the extra mesh hanging basket, I was able to fit in nappies, bottles, change of clothes, along with my keys, wallet etc.
The biggest problem I have had with it is one of the domes for holding the raincover on doesn't clip easily, and I needed a butterknife to undo it without totally destroying it! But I think this was just a simple fault on my pram.
I have used the pram ocassionally since coming home, when I wanted something small, light and easy. Although we will be travelling more, so I am trying not to overuse it to keep it in good nick for next time.
