Good sturdy stroller, but seat not the best

Reviewed by: Christina from Toronto, May 26, 2010

General Review

I've been using it almost daily for my 14 month old son now since the day he was born.

All in all it's an alright stroller, but I'm now looking for one with a better seat for him.

I find that the reclining seat should have one more level to ncline a bit more upright, as my baby struggles to pull himself up and I sometimes shov his blanket between his back and the seat.

Pros

Durable.
Easy to open & fold with one hand.
Easy to push with one hand.
Basket is roomy and fits a lot.
Bassinet option in the lowered incline of the backrest makes for a great nap.
Great during Canadian winters and huge snowstorms!
Easy on & off public transit.

Cons

Bulky.
Seat doesn't raise higher to a more upright seated position, causing my boy to slump & slouch unless I close the bootmuff thingy.
When the basket is to full underneath, it drags along the pavement.
Cupholder falls off easily and doesn't fit all sizes.

Ticked all our boxes

General Review

This is a wonderful pram. I did lots of research before buying and would not go back on our choice for a second. We have the "Papaia" colour and love that it is so different and funky. Has been a wonderful newborn stroller, as the seat converts to much like a bassinet. Our baby is only 3 months old, but I can already see that it will be a great toddler pram, with the removable food/play tray and large seat.

Pros

Reversible handle. It is lovely to be able to see and interact with bub while out and about.
Ease to steer (can do so with one hand) when child facing outwards
HUGE basket that can be pulled "shut" for safety of items
Easy to fold and stands once folded
Reasonably light and easy to lift with side handles
Excellent colours and extremely good quality fabrics
Excellent quality and secure harness
Large hood
Hand break is really easy to use and I think makes you more likely to use it whenever you stop
Cup holder is handy (but only fits a standard waterbottle)
Recline feature is easy to use

Cons

Bit tricky to manouvre when in reverse mode until you get the hang of it (once you are used to it, it is easy and worth it to be able to see bub)
Needed a liner to make bub feel more secure when very small(he got a bit "lost" in the big seat!)
Pros certainly outweigh the cons!!!!
