An overall almost great stroller

General Review
After months of research I found that the Peg Perego had everything I was looking for at the best price. You can fold the bassinet into a seat after your child outgrows it which is a great space saver. It is very easy to use once you learn how to use it. I would recommend going on the peg perego website and watching the instruction video if you plan on buying this stroller. It is great to have when you like to spend time outdoors. It is almost effortless to roll over grass or hard dirt trails for those who like to walk-not jog, but is not ideal for shopping in stores with narrow isles. If the front wheels were bigger and didn't catch in large sidewalk cracks or mud I would have given it a 5.
Pros
The seat can be adjusted with ease and faced forward or backwards. It is easy to maneuver around crowds of people and effortless to roll across the grass. The handles adjust so both short or tall will be comfortable pushing the stroller. The bassinet can be carried anywhere with you so you can keep a closer eye on your newborn. The cupholder is nice to have but stick to regular sized water bottles since some wide ones may not fit. Undo the zipper on the hood and you'll keep more sunlight out of your child's face. I was worried that the netting underneath the stroller would break if I put anything heavy on it but it held 2 gallons of water without any problems. Not only is it a nice looking stroller but my child is comfortable sitting in it.
Cons
The front wheels get stuck in deep sidewalk cracks, muddy patches in grass or soft sand in park trails. Larger front wheels in length & width could solve this problem. The stroller is large but still fits into my small nissan after I remove the wheels. However I can't fit anything else in the trunk with it. Wide back wheels make it impossible to fit through narrow isles in stores.

Some issues...

General Review
We came to the Skate after lengthy and exhausting research. It was new on the market and really did tick all of the boxes for its stability, smooth handling and the flexibility of use that it offered.
Pros
It steers like a dream, the ride is comfortable due to the shock absorption and the inflated tyres (16 months on, lots of off road use and no flats) fits through all conventional doorways, shopping aisles and checkouts, the adaptability it features is fantastic and we often use it as a high chair when out as the seat sits so high.
Cons
Our issue with this pram is one that gets very frustrating; the seat often gets stuck and won't recline, is difficult to take apart and the seat will not stay in the totally upright position. We also had a problem with the bassinette angle; our child used to creep towards the bottom of the bassinette! I don't think these are usual issues, but the fact is, check yours out before purchasing! I'd probably now try to stick to a totally aluminium body as the plastic parts have withheld so far but have lots of give (where it's not wanted) and feel a bit flimsy. there's always a trade-off with strollers!

General Review
I have had the Skate pram for 13 months now. Overall i am very happy with the pram.
Pros
comfortable pram for baby to toddler. Great that it can convert from bassinette to seat. love that baby can face you or away from you. Great handle height extension. Very easy Steering one handed. big area under pram for box of nappies or shopping bags!
Cons
i wasn't happy that the shoulder harness doesn't secure into pram base. ( toddler can easily get out.) Takes up a lot of boot space.
