A Very Good Maclaren Alternative

General Review

I must admit that I bought this stroller because it looked so good. I have a Maclaren and a Pliko, so this stroller was really a luxury purchase. That said, I really like it and find myself using it every day. It is essentially a slightly lighter Pliko. It does not have all the features of the Pliko, but since I no longer need the child tray or toddler board, this is fine for me. It does not fold as compactly as the Maclaren, is not as light, and does not have the nice solid feel that Maclarens do, but it has a much larger hood and seems much more comfortable. I find that a good sun canopy has become a very important feature for me. It does not handle bumps in the road as well as the other strollers but otherwise steers on par with them. The basket underneath is essentially useless because it sags, but this is not the stroller that I use for major outings with the children, or for groceries. It's perfect for going to pick up the older kids at school or short trips where you want to look stylish and have your child look great and feel comortable.

Pros

Beautiful. Comfortable. Great sun canopy. Relatively light. Handles perfectly well. A very decent umbrella stroller, especially if you want a proper and useful sun canopy (sadly missing on Maclarens).

Cons

Feels a little flimsy. Useless shopping basket. Lacks full features that are needed for a younger baby. I must say that I still love the way my Maclaren folds down to nothing - the Si is definitely bulkier when folded.
