nice small pram
Reviewed by: sue from perth WA, Sep 05, 2010General Review
This is great sized mountain buggy as i have used the urban but it was too big to fit in my boot (mazda 2) the swift fits (it i put it in certain way) and is great little package with same features as urban just smallerPros
- NZ made swifts have great fabric range and colour (i have lime)easy to fold
easy to sit up/lay down
hight adjustable handle means both myself and hubby(who is really tall) can use the pram
sun cover (sold seperate) zips on hood which means you are not having to try and attach one with velcro staps and both rain and sun have zip up font so you can get child out with out havong to take cover on/off
rain cover covers whole pram not just front so pram does not get wet
it has peek-a-boo window in hood which is great as you can see bub (my bub likes to stare up at me through it)
hood is good size to provide shade
mountain buggy (and phil and ted) sell ALL parts of the pram inc fabric and bolts so if you loose/brak something you can replace them no problem they also post for a reasonalble price!!
Cons
being smaller this pram will not really take as large of child as the urban (my 14mth old head is near top and i will not be able to lie her back to sleep soon (but really after 12mths its not as important)the wheels come off to make pram smaller but the wheels come off the rods which are left on pram so they still stick out they can pb moved into pram but would pref if the rods come off with wheel (im being picky but i dont like this :) )
basket is a bit shallow but this is a small pram
