What is it? It’s the sleekest and lightest combination pushchair we’ve ever made. Suitable from birth to toddler, it’s a convenient and protective pram, it’s a reversible pushchair, and with the Ventura Plus car seat, it’s the perfect travel system. The sleek and lightweight Linear chassis comes with lockable swivel wheels, giving you greater mobility around the city; then folds away easily on to its own
stand for storage.
What does it do? It gives you the freedom to get on with your life without having to worry about where everything is, where you’re meant to use it and whether it’ll all fit in. It’s the answer to all your problems. (OK, it’s the answer to some of your problems.) The Freeway’s lightweight but durable fabric has been cut to create a modern look that retains all the features you’d expect from a Silver Cross Combination System. The padded body gives protection and comfort for the first few months, and when your baby’s old enough to sit up more, the body converts into a reversible pushchair. Adding the award-winning Ventura Plus car seat gives you the complete travel system. Be stylish. Be flexible. Be free.

Massive disappointment

General Review
I bought this pram 10 days ago and am already awaiting a replacement chassis due to the adjustable handle locking in 1 position, one loose wheel and a faulty closing mechanism. I wanted a pram to replace my 6 year old Inglesina Magnum and wish I hadn't, the Inglesina was FAR superior in quality and remains a smoother ride. The Silver Cross looks like a comfy pram but it jiggles along like a cheap stroller. It is also very short, I can't see it lasting through to a toddler when the Inglesina comfortably housed my tall 3 1/2 year old daughter. I think the Silver Cross will have collapsed long before then.
Pros
Snuggly cosytoes, useful vent in hood. Matching car seat is excellent though, good laid back position for baby in the car.
Cons
Flimsy chassis, short length, apron unable to be opened if you're going in and out of warm shops you have to remove it completely and fill the underneath shopping basket. The basket is large but access is tiny, you have to post your shopping in item by item.

Don't waste your money

General Review
Being a first time mother, I wanted the best for my son, and after researching all of the other strollers out there, I decided on the Freeway. After only 2 months use, the front wheels are unstable, the frame does not lock, and the brakes do not work!? All I have to say is DO NOT waste your money. This stroller will take up most of your trunk space. Customer service in the UK is horrible and there is only 1 service center in New York. What a huge disappointment and total waste of money.

Cons
Horrible stroller, expensive
