Excellent ''2nd' stroller

General Review
We were given this stroller 2nd hand but it is still going strong.
Its so lightweight - great for travelling.
The hood is big & does provide a decent amount of sun/rain protection. The included storm cover is also very good.
The only drawback is that you can't have anything hanging (eg bags)on the handles when the child exits the pram as it tips over easily- this can be quite annoying.
It only has small wheels so not for rough terrain but it moves very well on roads/pavements etc.
Pros
So lightweight
Good hood; storm cover
Small carry basket underneath
Cons
Pram tips if bags/weight are on the handles & child gets out
Is not comfy for extended outings for a larger toddler

Brilliant pram if you are on the go

General Review
After having a three wheel jogger and a Graco Travel System pram I found that I wanted a "stroller" for the car that was compact and could be used for trips to the shops etc. Where I live there is not a huge choice (just 2 - 3 stores) but I could not have been any happier with my choice of the Maclaren Triumph. I purchased it when my son was almost 1 and it has been brilliant for the past 1.5 years. I travel alot and it has been on and off over 30 planes and not one problem with the wheels or any breakages (a few scuff marks but that is to be expected). When I am going up stairs my toddler hops out and I fold it down and throw it over my shoulder at the top of the stairs one flick and we are back in action. The basket is a good size although I find that I tend to put things in it through the side as the back of the stroller comes down far. It has two positions which are easy to unclip. I know there are now more compact ones on the market but they all seem to lack any storage space so I'll stick with my Maclarens.
Pros
Lightweight, easy to the throw over the shoulder. Good basket. Easy to put into "sleeping" position. Good value.
Cons
You have to take the shopping out of the basket before folding pram (pretty common). No window, can't see the toddler. The fold down kick bar can be tricky (I just use another method and kick it up in the middle instead of at the side).
