happy 5th birthday Volo
Reviewed by: Anonymous user, Sep 09, 2011General Review
We've had our Volo 5 years & two children now, and it's still going! We are very happy with its light weight, easy fold durability and the clip that doesn't give blood blistering finger snapping injuries when doing up or releasing! We've taken it around the world 3 times and travelled on public transport where it's one-hand fold has been particularly useful.
The only complaints are that it's wheels are a litle small -not great for outback australian country town gravel footpaths, and that it doesn't recline, but that's a style thing, it never claimed to be a pram (tho this has led to lots of dirty looks and comments by old ladies about the poor baby's neck.)
! The pale grey/aqua colour is also a bit grubby looking now, and I can't work out how to remove the (stained) shade to wash it.
All in all an excellent stroller!
Pros
light weightstrong
one-hand fold
carry strap
safe clip for straps
durable
Cons
shopping basket broke aftter a year-but we probably stacked too much stuff in it!Doesn't recline
shoulder straps never fit -too loose/ easy for toddler to escape & flop forward during tanty
