General Review

We purchased the Mountain Buggy Terrain as our first buggy however after a few weeks use we found that we needed a swivel wheel as we are city-dwellers and the Terrain wasn't ideal for use in malls. etc. We then purchased the Urban.

The Terrain is a wonderful lightweight buggy which despite not having a swivel wheel, is very easy to steer. We live close to a beach so it was ideal for beach walks and for the the bush tracks around our neighbourhood as well. The pneumatic wheels glide over gravel, stones and sand and it is apparently the best option for joggers/runners.

The seat reclines to any position, from upright to almost flat. The harness is 5 point and very easy to use. The buggy has a good size metal parcel tray though this isn't particularly deep so you need to make sure you don't put overfill it or you might lose some of it's contents during your walk!

To collapse the buggy you simply pull the two clips near the footplate and slightly push it forward. It then folds flat (but fairly broad) and you use the wrist strap to secure it closed.

I think the Terrain would be a fantastic buggy for those in rural areas or those who don't really require a swivel wheel buggy.

Pros

*Top quality materials. This buggy will withstand a lot of use!
*Very lightweight
*Suitable from newborn
*Sunhood with peekaboo flap
*Secure, easy to use harness
*Good size parcel tray
*Supurb handling over rough terrain
*

Cons

*Doesn't have a swivel wheel so the turning circle is not as tight

Older model, about 4 years old

General Review

It has been a great pram, very easy to put up and down. Great over cobblestones in the inner city. Hubby has taken the kids for lots of jogs in it, over all sorts of terrains. It is very simple to operate and not much can go wrong with it.

Pros

Back goes down v-flat - good for baby sleeps and changing nappies. Can add some types of toddler-rollers to it, we use a Valco.

Cons

This particular model hasn't got a custom-fit baby bassinet or toddler-roller. Small basket. The canvas seat is maybe not as strong as it could be. Folds flat, but long - may not fit in some sedan boots.
