I love this stroller and all it can do.

General Review

As my wife loves to shop and is a slave to the pitchmen of Madison Ave., I am constantly forced to do my homework before buying. This product was no different. I got the info I needed at this and other sites. The stroller is strong, and as some have pointed out, not as light as it could be. WARNING - this is not the perfect stroller right out of the box. As another has pointed out it takes up space. BUT these can be used daily. My bassinet is used daily as a bassinet for the baby when in the TV room. The diner snacktray* can be used with the Babysitter Chassis Rocker* to be a feeding station on the road. Also, the Graco car seat adapter* is a MUST. With all of these parts (* indicates additional cost) this is much more than a stroller, and can be used to meat a multitude of baby's needs .

Pros

Can be used for much more than just a stroller.

Cons

A bit heavy.

Great stroller - versatility is important

General Review

We bought the 4rider light. This stroller is great. We have used it for just three weeks for our boy, but tested it with our nephew earlier this year. Be certain to buy the Graco car seat adapter, the feeding tray, and the rocker seat adapter. The system is very flexible. With the bassinet and the car seat, the baby can always be comfortable and does not need to be awakened to move. The stroller can be maneuvered with one hand. It is a large system and a bit heavy but my wife and I both love it.

Pros

Flexibility, easy to maneuver, great ride

Cons

Heavy

Glowing Review of 4Rider Light

Reviewed by: David from New York, Jan 14, 2008

General Review

I am a dad who has spent months researching the market high and low for the best stroller out there and ended up buying a Mutsy 4Rider Light. Here are my impressions:
First, as compared with the ubiquitous Bugaboo, the Mutsy blows it away. May people get stuck on the popularity and trendiness of the bugaboo but don't give it practical thought. The Bugaboo, while it derserved credit for being one of the first to revolutionize how we think about strollers, has many drawbacks. For starters, the child sits veru, very, very low. If you are anything taller than a dwarf, you will find it extermely difficult to bend over dramatically to place the child inito and take the child out of the stroller. If you have a c-section, forget it. It will be extremely painful to maneuver.
Second, before I settled on the mutsy, I test drove the bugaboo by placing my 15 month old son in it. He is by no means a large child and he could barely fit into the stroller, the frog, that is. I just can't justify spending so much money on a stroller that basically lasts until your child reaaches 18 months at best.

Additionally, while the bugaboo is designed in the Netherlands, many, if not all, of the parts are currently being made in China. If you actually try shaking the handle and the chassis, it does not feel sturdy at all.

Next, I test dorve and even bought the Quinny Buzz. This is a great stroller and very aerodynamic but the day we bought it I realized it is tiny. My wife could not get the straps to close sinc etheir mechanism requires you to click the straps together and then insert into the mechanism and my son looked like he was being strangled. Needless to day, the stroller went back.

After addional research, we settled on the Mutsy 4Rider light and I beleive this is the king of strollers. First, it is made in Europe. The chassis feels like a tank. Second, the baby sits very high up, something so important both for baby and Mommy who doesn't have to bend over in half to reach the child. Unlike the bugabbo, you can fold it up with the seat or bassinet on the base. And what a gorgeous bassinet.
Finally, the seat is actually big enough to hold a child that is a few years old. The other strollers look like toys ini comparison to this one. Mutsy has been around since 1935 and they they are making a quality product. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

Pros

Child sits very high
Mommy doesn't need to bend over
Fold with seat or bassinet in place
Large, gorgeous bassinet
Strony, sturdy chassis
Stroller can hold a large toddler for many years
Reclining, reversible seat
Made in Europe

Cons

None.
