Easy to steer and compact-folding
Reviewed by: Anonymous user from Melbourne, May 07, 2008General Review
I bought this pram for weekends away when boot space is at a premium, since will fit behind driver seat. Found now lives in boot for use as shopping pram since is very light and easy to push with one hand while toddler running to burn off steam. Only use 3-wheeler for outside walking now. Thought was too expensive for quality, but limited choice.Pros
Easy to foldEasy to steer
Compact when folded
Cons
Had to re-grease wheel bearings to assist wheels to turn on smooth surfacesHad to "adjust" fold mechanism since design means that will gradually become more difficult with wear. Easy to access mechanism though.
Seat slightly too deep for 2yo...slouches slightly occasionally to rest feet on footrest.
Have to remember that will topple backwards if too much in basket/over handlebar when toddler hops out.
Great stroller for the price

I was tossing between this and the Quicksmart Easy Fold Stroller. I chose this over the Quicksmart as I had trouble finding the Quicksmart in the stores and also it was recommended to me as it is meant to be easier to maneuver. It is bigger than I expected though but still great for the price.Pros
- Lightweight and small- Cheap and wouldn't worry me if I trashed it
- Reasonably easy to steer
- Good sized storage bag
Cons
- Wished it came with a rain cover- Handles a bit flimsy and shakes when pushing
- No sides which is a bit scary for a young child
- Cannot put my drink caddy
Great for Travel

I purchased the Cielo when on sale at K mart and was quite dubious as to it's functions but my family were off overseas -Mew York - and we wanted a light weight travel pram - we figured it didn't matter if it was rubbish as it was cheap and we would just toss it! I am happy to say that although we had a rough start (steering issues)a bit of vaseline on the wheels made for a smooth city ride. It was a great travel stroller for our needs.Pros
Small and compact the Cielo fits through all dooways and shopping aisles. Once you get the hang of it it is easy to fold. The shopping bag is handy. Easy foot brake. Looks cute and got quite a bit of attention!Cons
Recline is minimal so not great for sleeping. No sides. Shopping bag doesn't hold large items. Wouldn't suit rough terrain. The canopy doesn't provide much shade and attachable shades don't fit well.Still hungry for more reviews? Read the in depth Strollers and Prams Mia Moda Cielo Review
