I love my Maclaren!

General Review

I love this pram. The Techno XT gave us the value for money we were looking for. A pram that baby could be placed in from birth. We put on the foot muff and off we went. He is now almost ten months and the pram is going strong. Not an all terrain pram however I have pushed it through gravel, bumpy footpaths...no problem, not the smoothest ride for bub though of course. The underbasket is tight for space and not too much can be hung on the pram or it could tip...so if you like shopping alot and loading the pram up it mightent suit. So easy to steer and yes it is even easy with one hand, adjustable handles and a swift motion to close the pram all make for a stress free experience. The rain cover simply hooks on and keeps bub cosy and dry. The most magnificent thing about this pram for me is that it is super lightweight relative to its functions. Five stars without a shadow of a doubt.

Pros

Lightweight
Easy fold
One hand steering
Adjustable handles
Use from birth
Smooth swivel wheels
Tight turning circle
Tough wearing
Window in canopy

Cons

Small underbasket
Not all terrain

No storage

General Review

I do really like this pram. It is very easy to drive, even on gravel paths. However, the handles that are adjustable are a little wobbly and there is NO basket space underneath. I also found I couldnt really hang a nappy bag (or any bag) off the bag as it pushed down on the hood, and if baby is lying flat the bag hits them in the head. I ended up with a $98 stroller and sold my techno xt. But it is a good pram if your happy with no storage. I needed storage!

Pros

Lays flat.
Light weight.
Steers well.
Window in hood to see baby.

Cons

NO storage.
Cant hang a bag on the back.
Hood only held on by velcro so not very secure.
Straps very loose (even on a 12kg baby at their tightest).
