I bought my X2 because I liked the versatility it provides. The pram is interchangable with any of the X-series chassis (and in fact, I have the X5 also), along with a bassinette/highchair stand and rocker.I love the large easy-access shopping basket.
The pram is easy to push, although is heavy to lift.
The automatic opening is great when you are getting out of the car, but is a bit of a pain when putting the folded pram in the boot, as it can easily spring open. It needs some sort of locking device I think.
The seat can face in either direction which is great, but it slopes forward when face-to-face, and backward when facing forwards. This is supposed to be to reduce reflux/colic in younger babies, but personally I don't like it. It made it more difficult for my Special Needs daughter to sit properly when she was first learning to hold herself upright.
The foam handle becomes pitted fairly easily (a problem with most modern prams), although this is really a cosmetic issue.
I love the way the pram can be folded with the baby in it. I have used this feature a number of times when at parks etc, and I am sitting on the ground. It is nice to have my daughter on the same level as I am!
The hood reaches almost to the bumper bar when the seat is upright. This is great on hot sunny days.
The carrycot is gorgeous looking, and very easy to move, using the handle built into the hood.
The gliding seat comes with a liner and zip-on footmuff. Great for cleaning easily, and for keeping warm in winter.
The bumper swings out of the way if the pram is forward-facing, but doesn't if the baby is facing you. This was a bit of a pain when I used the pram for changing nappies in!
The harness has 5 parts that interlock individually. This is good in that you don't have to force baby's arms through the straps. However, the buckle itself tends to be a bit difficult to use.
When I got some spare parts (pram was second hand and had bits missing), I was very impressed with the customer service.
Pros
Nice lookingGreat multi-function accessories
Hood is great in the sun
Large Shopping Basket
Nice to push
Good customer service
Cons
Heavy to lift into carAutomatic opening can trigger when lifting folded pram
Buckle takes a bit of practice
Doesn't take a toddler seat

I've had this pram now for 1.5yrs and still love it. I started off with a chunky 3-wheeler pram which served us well until baby got heavier and it got harder and harder to steer. I bought the Bertini X2 for double what I paid for the 3-wheeler but truly believe now that you only get what you pay for with prams. The steering is beautiful and it folds up nice and flat. Can take a little getting used to collapsing the pram but fine once you know how. The front wheels are smallish but cope surprisingly well on gravel and uneven surfaces. Some broken footpaths and uneven concrete however have brought us to a jolting halt. I've had many comments on this pram whilst out and about, the most common one being that my child looks so comfortable in it. It has an adjustable footrest too which enables them to really kick back in it. Have had some problems with the plastic catch popping open when knocked even after I sent it back for repairs. The gliding set is wonderful for easily adjusting the seat postion without disturbing the child. Mine was getting harder and harder to use over time but I had it lubricated and it's as good as new. I'm told this can be a common problem with the seat. The reversible seat is great and easy to use. The seat however doesn't lay back as flat as it does in the forward facing position. The flat layback of this pram has been so handy on many occasions, not only for a sleeping baby but also to change the nappy while out and about instead of hunting down a change room. Invaluable in this regard. It's not a light pram but the great steering seems to disguise this while in use. The brake is very bulky and in a ridiculous position which is fine if you have a short stride, but if your tall like we are then you'll find yourself kicking it a lot until you can adjust the way you walk with the pram. This is probably the most annoying aspect of this pram. The fabric is surprisingly touch and well wearing. My pram is red and my child eats in it all the time. I have washed the fabric several times and it comes up just like new each time. Also the storage space underneath may look smallish but trust me it can hold a stack!!!There are a few drawbacks to this pram but on the whole I'm very happy with it, particularly compared to what else there is on the market.
Pros
Great to steerComfortable
Flat recline is really handy
Fabric very durable and easy to clean
Good storage space
Comes with some accessories
Cons
Tricky buckle releaseTricky to collapse at first
Heavy pram
Brake in awkward position
Seat sliding mechanism can get stiff over time
Foot rest catch keeps popping open when knocked
Won't take a toddler seat
Just what I have always wanted!

After much deliberation I decided on purchasing the X2. It has everything I have ever REALLY wanted out of a pram. EXCELLENT SHADE... Reversable seat unit, GREAT LOOKING! and So far excellent quality. This pram is on the larger side but its features make up for it. With a maximum weight limit of 20kg and a fully flat recline its very comfortable for a baby. So far the only thing i would change is there need to be another buckle placement for a smaller baby but otherwise its great. OH and the seat recline mechanism reminds me of a lazy boy its so cool!! If you are buying this before bubs is born then i think a bassinet would be great too.. just so it more cozy for them!Actually this range offers a variety of options there is a rocker frame that you can attach the seat unit to... i wish i had decided earlier and bought a set! hehe
Pros
funky looking
EASY TO FOLD
wonderful shade
great to steer
good for a bigger child too.
Cons
accept for the seat buckle none reallyits on the bigger side but its worth it!
