Great 3 Wheeler

Reviewed by: fmcc123 from Brisbane, Nov 29, 2008

General Review

Excellent pram! We're first time parents and couldn't be happier with this pram. Very comfortable for baby. We bought the bassinet attachment which was an absolute dream with a new born and he slept happily for hours :)It will easily fit him once he's a large toddler as well. We have a mazda 6 hatch and it fits fine.

Pros

light weight; lays flat; comfortable for baby; price; bassinet

Cons

takes up a large amount of boot space.

Whats The Problem?

Reviewed by: Sally from queensland, Aug 25, 2008

General Review

This pram has been great for us, we haven't experienced any of the problems the others have. what do you do to the pram? No wobbly wheels, no broken zippers,no torn fabric and our pram gets a lot of use.
The cushioned head insert can in fact be removed. Buckles on back? Hello! Common sense.
Our baby has been very comfortable and is more than happy to hang out in her pram.

Pros

easy to clean
easy to fold
easy to manouvre

Cons

Has trouble fitting in many car boots without removing some or all wheels. Go the camry though!

No issues at all

Reviewed by: Heather from Brisbane, Feb 23, 2008

General Review

This pram has been fantastic for us, both in shops and also rough terrain. Haven't had any issues with the wheels, but we do lock them in when using on slightly rough terrain (just like locking the hubs on a 4x4).

Pros

easy to fold
easy steering
lots of room for baby
can undo the over arm straps

Cons

haven't found any yet

Very Disappointed

Reviewed by: Prue McGlynn from Mulwala N.S.W., Jan 17, 2008

General Review

At the start i was happy with this pram, i bought the bassinett and my baby got thrown around alot in it i was very surprised. then we took that off and put the seat back in and she still woblles around alot, then the front right wheel went like a shopping trolley and i had to push it on the back wheels all the way home. Was not one bit happy. Now both the front wheels wobble and feel loose. I went and bought another pram as a spare for when stuff like this happens, stupid me boguhta steelcraft one again and well, thats a piece of junk aswell. don't buy this pram unless your baby is sitting up, might not be so bad of a ride, as for the wheels, its ridiculous sounds like its a fault in them.

Pros

looks good, folds easy.

Cons

wheels wobble, and are loose, had to push it only on back wheels at one stage to make it home.when you turn it around in a circle its like they lift up abit off the ground.

Pretty Good so far

Reviewed by: Katie from WA, Australia, Oct 03, 2007

General Review

I haven't had the issues the others have had yet except the wheel wobbling. I just figured it out today it is loose where it joins the actual frame. Will be going back to the shop tomorrow to see what to do. I have been using it since Late March this year. Was excellent in bassinett mode (I purchased this separately) and my baby slept in that a lot. The wheel issue started when i put the seat in. Bubs was a lightweight at 6lb 5oz so was in the bassinett for a few months till he was bigger and he seems to be fine in the seat. I wish the padded headrest would be able to be removed. The zips are quite stiff on the covers too but not breaking yet (I don't use them much though)

Pros

Easily steered.
Fairly light
Stable (we have large dog and she can jump on it without tipping it)

Cons

The wheel issue
Zips a bit tricky esp if it starts raining and your rushing
Padded support around head not removable.

frustrating

Reviewed by: Jackie from Australia, Jun 27, 2007

General Review

Looks good, but is a bumpy ride for bubs. The front right wheel has a mind of its own and wobbles all the time, only stops wobbling when the wheel lock is on. Must say i am very disappointed in this one.

Pros

Looks good

Cons

Hard to control to wide for most shops

complete piece of crap

Reviewed by: woodsies from nsw, Mar 19, 2007

General Review

i have to say this pram looks great! but when baby was born at 5.8lb she was thrown from side to side even with extra padding she still wobbled around in this thing, weather it was on smooth or rough surface our little girl had no support. after holding her everywhere unitll she got big enough th support her head so she wasnt so floppy in the pram we put her back in for a second try but still got thrown, there are two screws that are on the shade that baby hits her head on all the time and there is nothing you can put over it.
i spent around $500 on this pram and for a mother on centrelink payments thats a lot of money for a pram. for my 1st child i got a pram for $250 from target and had not one problem, if only that was still around i would have brought the same one for baby number2.

Pros

looks great material is soft for baby, easy to clean outside,

Cons

wheels fall off, zippers break, handle support falls off and rips, no support for bubbz, costly for the amount of trouble it has. been lift without a pram too many times because of faults. has to be sent away for repairs so your left with no pram for god knows how long. dont buy it! sorry steelcraft but this one sucks!

not the best stroller

Reviewed by: nsw family from nsw, Mar 19, 2007

General Review

i love steelcraft products but for a few reasons was not satisfied with this particular one,
the front wheels always fall off with the metal tubes inside coming out too, the zippers for rain and fly mesh broke on 1st use, the foam handle grip riped after a few uses and my baby constantly hits her head on the screws located on the sun shade as there is not much support for back rest and while walking throws her around. like i said i normally reccomend steelcraft but just not this one!

Pros

love steelcraft products!

Cons

dont think this stroller is suited for new borns
