The biggest difference between Stokke™ Xplory™ and other strollers is that Stokke™ Xplory™ lifts your child higher off the ground. Sitting low down in an ordinary stroller your child is more exposed to city dust, exhaust fumes and heat from the pavement. Stokke™ Xplory™ is designed around a central bar that like a spinal cord carries every feature on this stroller; the wheels, the seat, bag. This makes the stroller easy to open and operate or fold and store away. Stokke™ Xplory™ is ideal to take into a restaurant or coffee bar. The diagonal frame makes it easier to place the stroller close to the table, so it’s not intrusive in any way. The seat is adjustable so your child can sit up at the table. |

Just not impressed...

I wanted a Stokke XPlory for ages. It was the first stroller I admired and lusted after in all the baby shops. It took me two years and several other prams to let me realise the dream and own one, and it didn't live up to my expectations. It might be trendy, it might be pretty but I just don't see how it's useful. I'm tall (5'11) but it even the extra height wasn't an advantage a Bugaboo Cammy or Quinny Buzz couldn't give me. Sure, it can be used as a highchair but the Cammy can do the same thing if you take off the bumper.
The worst thing about it for me was the length- so so long! At times it felt like I was steering a tank or long tandem pram.
Pros
Good colours and range of accessories availableAsthetically appealing
Footmuff is very cosy
Everyone knows it's a prestigous pram
Cons
Long!Handle is awkward to hold and gets really cold in winter- I miss foam!
New textile sets are really expensive.
The basket holds alot but it's no good for boxes or drinks the way some baskets are.
It doesn't do anything that a Bugaboo or Quinny can't do- why the higher price tag?
