Field walking

General Review

I've had my Speedi for nearly 2 years now and have had a few problems with it - but it has had alot of heavy use.

I walk my dog twice daily rain or shine in fields. I have a small lightweight buggy that I've used all summer, but it cannot cope with the off-roading, that's where the speedi come in use. We've had alot of punctures which has resulted in us having to buy a whole new tyre as this also broke with all the prizing on and off - I've also bought 2 new inner tubes. Although these problems are annoying, the worst thing about the Speedi is that your baby/toddler cannot sit fully upright and I've had to use a pillow.

Pros

Great for off-road
Good manoeuverability
Excellent attachments (ie cot and carseat)
Nice designs and colours

Cons

Baby cannot sit up fully
Punctures
Small basket

General Review

We bought our Speedi in 2006 for our son. It's very easy to manoeuvre, looks great, folds down and up very easily. Large seat room for the bub. Comes with a bassinette attachment which we used for the first 4 months or so. Overall, a great buy.

Pros

Attractive
Bassinette attachment
Large basket underneath
Easy to use harness
Comfortable with lots of room for baby/toddler.
Reclines to most positions from layback to almost upright.
Easy to manoeuvre, turns on a dime.
Good suspension.
Very durable. Goes over all terrain. We've used it to death and it's holding up beautifully!

Cons

Does not recline fully for a newborn. Need to use the bassinette, which I highly recommend.
