Great For Travel

If you wanted it for travelling then it would be a suitable choice, but it is not an everyday stroller. Folds up into a backpack and only weighs 4kgs so it would be ideal for overseas travel if you wanted a basic stroller. The seat is extremely small, my 8mth old looked cramped in it. Unsuitable for younger babies who would need a sleep if out for longer periods as it has NO recline. The sun canopy is useless, I am not sure why it's even there. It is fiddly to fold, you get faster at it but it is still a pain to do. The handle height is extremely low, I am 5'3 and still found them way too short.Pros
- Compact - Comes with Storage Bag - Funky Colours - Light WeightCons
- Short Handle Height - Small Seat - Inadequate Sun Shade - Fiddly To Fold - Has NO ReclineConsidered a missile by Virgin Airlines 15/1/07

We just got back from our 7 week overseas trip. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have survived airports and sightseeing without it. You could take the Stroller on board which was a bonus - as our little one is active and would run a muck....so this way he was strapped in and safe.Pros
light weightspace saving
easy to steer
Cons
not the most comfortable to sleep in - but our above average 2 year old managed to catch a few zzzz'sHandles a bit low
small but sturdy

I bought the quicksmart because I was travelling to the US with my 15 mth old and a 2 1/2 year old. Initially my husband was sceptical about why we would need yet another stroller. However, we have had great value from this stroller. Once you get the hang of the folding mechanism it is easy to fold and unfold quickly. It is light and manouverable - I can even wheel it onto buses and the whole thing (including child) fits in between the bus seat and back of the next seat. Great also on subways, not to mention that it stores easily in the overhead luggage compartment on the plane. Wherever we go people ask me where I got the quicksmart from. I would recommend it to anyone who is travelling, and as a handy standby in the boot for shopping expeditions.Pros
Light, compact,a breeze to travel with. Great for any child over 6 months. Secure 5 point harness.Cons
Not having a parcel tray, but the small mesh bag does take a nappy and drink bottle and you can do the unforgivable and hang shopping bags over the handles. The instructions expressly forbid this and if the stroller is empty it will topple because it is so light, but hey, we all do it.Great Stroller

We got this stroller for my son because we wanted something simple and easy to travel with. It is great for plane trips as you can take it right up to the door and then fold it up and put it away in the backpack. It's easy to manoeuvre with a 2 and half year old in the seat. The folding does take some getting used to...my husband still can't do it! I agree with a previous reviewer regarding the sunshade. Mine got twisted within the first few unfolds so it is a little distorted. It doesn't offer much sun protection at all and I can't really see a point in it. I haven't used it for a younger baby (my son was 15 months when we got it), so it is difficult to comment on the suitability for a 6 month old. I would say that it isn't the most comfortable stroller for little ones to sleep in. Overall though, for the money, it is a great stoller!Pros
Its easy to steer; compact; great to travel with.Cons
Folding can take a while to get used to; sunshade is useless; not the greatest for little ones to sleep in.Funky and tiny!

We bought this pram because we wanted something that took up less space in our boot - this one fitted the bill! It's compact, light and relatively eay to manouvere although going up stairs is a pain and going down stairs is easiest if you put the front wheel down first (not practical on narrow stairs - so it's better to just pick it up with your child in it and carry the whole kit and kaboodle). The sun shade is crap - it gets twisted when you fold the pram up and eventually I just removed it altogether. My son gets a bit uncomfortable in this pram after a while, I think because he seems to be in a slightly less than upright position, even if I lift him and move his bum back into the stroller he still doesn't seem to sit up straight in it.Pros
Small, light and funkyHandy size for tight spaces (folded in the boot and while in use)
Good for short trips
Cons
Sun shade is unusableTricky to fold and unfold at first
Not comfy to sleep in or for long periods.
Great little stroller for a great price

Love the stroller, lightweight, compact and great for those quick trips to the shops, post office etc. Can be tricky to fold.Pros
CompactCute
can be thrown in the boot/car quickly
Cons
My only problem is the handles are not long enough so I end up stooping to push it or I push it with the tips of my fingers, which looks a little odd!Love This Stroller!!

This is such a great little stroller for those quick trips to the shops, where you don't want to be manouvering a huge pram between isles. The folding mechanism takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. And I get a lot of comments from people in the shops, as it looks quite funky.Pros
- Nice & small- Easy to manouvere
- Great for quick trips
- Compact, takes up no room at all in the car
- Can be put into the front seat without even collapsing it, if you're in a hurry
- Fits into an easy to carry backpack
Cons
- Can be tricky to unfold till you get used to it- Not a very big canopy so sun can be a problem
- Going up & down stairs is easiest if you just pick the whole thing up and carry it, rather than trying to wheel it.
Awesome!

Not much to say please see pros and cons belowPros
Folds neatly into a backpack, great for going aroung small shops where normal sized prams can't get around. Leave plenty of boot space, it can even be stored in the front seats. Price is excellent.Cons
Does not offer much sun protection, seat does not recline so it's suitable for ages 6 months and over. Probably won't be very comfortable to sleep in.Still hungry for more reviews? Read the in depth Strollers and Prams Quicksmart Backpack Stroller Review
