do not buy baby love tandem

General Review

This pram looks great and my toddler loves it. I however hate it, I bought it from an op shop for $30 thinking I'd scored a bargain. It is the most heaviest pram to steer even in the shopping centre, I have damaged my neck and back trying to keep the thing on the footpath!! $30 huh now have to spend $60 on Osteopath. Cannot comprehend how this made it into Australian shops. Will not sell this pram on it has to go to the tip, could not let some other poor mum experience this pain.

Pros

Looks great, kids love it, folds easily.

Cons

Pulls to the right, very very heavy to steer even with a newborn and no toddler.

Not good for long distance walking

General Review

When we found out we were expecting number 2. We thought a Tandem would be the way to go. Two seats for both of the children to sleep if the occasion ever called for it. I must admit 95% of me bought this pram purely for looks. When we tested it out in the shop, it was great. Seemed to handle well and appeared to be comfortable.

After getting it home and taking it out for the first time, I was soon to discover that it wasn't as great as I thought it was. It was very hard to steer in a straight line, particularly on a slight slant or uneven ground. It would pull to that direction. Even on even ground it would still like to go in it's own direction. I would find it very tiring to constantly have to ight with which direction to go. My arms would ache and my legs would be like jelly by the end of the trip.

The lack crotch strap was also an issue. My Toddler discovered he could slip out of the pram when he wasn't trapped in and take off. Often this would happen whil we were in motion. Hubby had to make one to stop this from occuring.

The hoods don't seem to provide much sun protection and we were unable to find a rain cover for the also.

I found the limited access to the under basket very disappointing. Particularly when the back seat was fully reclined, there was no way to get access to it other than lifting the seat up.

Even in the shopping centre I found it hard to manouver. The wheels would slide rather than roll when turning.

I would recommend this product to anyone. I am as we speak in the process of selling it.

Pros

Great colour, fabric seats makes it very comfortable in both summer and winter. Large basket is a huge plus, just a shame it can't be used to it's full potential, Lightweight and compact for storage. Two seats allows both children to sleep.

Cons

Lack of accessories available, Doesn't steer easily, Very limited sun protection, Tips to the side when turning sharply, lack of crotch strap, Lack of access to the basket.

This is the worst pram i have used. We bought it recently as new bubs arrived 20 months after her sister. Admitadly we didn't look to hard at 2 seat prams but read a few reviews on this one & thought it was the one for us....how wrong was i. The toddler seat is in no way comfortable for a 20 month old - the seat back is high (which is good) but the seat itself doesn't contain her (she is a small 20 month old) & slides down easily to end up with a single strap wedged between her legs. The basket cannot be accessed with a baby in the back. There is no room for mums bits & bobs in the back pocket - it pulls to the right like you wouldn't believe....My right arm is almost twice the size of my left now (an exageration but not too far off). the toddler hood will not stay in place (keeps dropping). on the plus side it is very easy to fold & place in car - which will be the last thing i do with it before i sell it & buy another pram!!!

Pros

very easy to fold & place in car

Cons

see above

i love this pram!

General Review

this is just great! i've only just bought this, but have been impressed with my choice. both my kids are happy , the baby in the back gets a good viewing position with the back seat elevated (and wity the front hood being removable). she has plenty of leg room, which may be compromised if the front seat is reclined however. the front seat is comfortable for my large 2 1/2 year old, and the back of his seat is high enough to support his head should he fall asleep.
manuvering is easy and it fits through doorways without any problem (unlike my old 3-wheeler).
folding and unfolding is so easy and it folds to a small compact size.
the storage below is very big, but access is very limited. it can hold many little things! (but it does go underneath the baby's feet, so anything she drops there is caught by the starage bag - handy!)
the only difficluty i had was it seemed to pull slightly off to the right.

Pros

* both seats are roomy and comfortable for both children.
* can take up to 20 kg per seat (the heaviest max i found)
* light
* soooooo easy to steer
* soooooo easy to fold/unfold
* narrow; fits through doors and shopping checkouts

Cons

* limited access to storage below.
* pulls to the right a little.

**The greatest tandem pram around**

General Review

I brought my pram second hand over eBay and it was worth it!! Very compact and lightweight. Actually smaller then my 3 wheel single pram when folded and unfolded!! The pram is so easy to fold and you can wheel it along once folded up so you don't have to carry it!!
***You really wont be disappointed. Even my husband was impressed!!***

Pros

*Ample space for both children
*Easy to steer
*One action fold and unfold!!
*Small enough to not be a hassle out in shops!!
*Fits into a small boot easily
*Tough when beaten around!! Even by toddlers!!
*A must have for any mum of 2!!!

Cons

*Basket is a little hard to access but only a small flaw considering the pros!!
