i have had the i'coo platon for two years and it has only just started to look used i have put mine throw alot with walking to and from school an hour each way and we have taken it to wales with us it is great the cosytoes is great very big the hood is a nice size for it the raincover that goes on the is great to their is only a coulpe of things i dont like about the i'coo and that is that it is so heavy but then its why it can be puthrow alot and that the hood when not up and facing away from you on mine anyway keeps sliding down between the handle and gets stuck i was told that i wouldnt be able to fold it with the seat facing me and i found that i coulds do that it takes up abit more room in the car that way than the other but if you had to take it of compleatly then it would take up loads more i have hads loads of pushchairs in the 12 years of being a mum and i would recomed this to anyone that doesnt mind a heavy pushchairPros

We have used our Platon 4 for over a year now with no major problems. We purchased it for it's many great features, but above all because it has a nice telescoping tall handle. My husband and I are both very tall (6'2" and 6'5"), and both of us can push it while remaining upright. That,in combination with the steerable front wheels, has made the Platon very easy to use. We have do not have the seperate bassinet attachment for ours. Instead we have the softside carry bag which fits inside the pushchair seat. It functioned well for us. Our child was an early sitter, so we did not use the bag for long and she did not outgrow it. However, I could see that it could be too narrow as baby becomes larger. The seat is very durable and seems to be very comfortable for our daughter. A 'Voksi' bag fits easily on it for winter weather. We have enjoyed the large 'sunroof' window on the canopy which allows us to keep an eye on our daughter when the seat is facing away from us. It has air tires which are a plus if you must use it on different terrains. They have worn well and are as easy to repair as bicycle tires when punctured. The wheels come off by simply pressing a button and pulling them off. We have used our platon on many different terrains successfully. It is nice to have the locking frontwheels in deeper snow. Storage space is adequate on the Platon. I can fit two bags of groceries and a pack of diapers underneath (see cons for more info).Pros
Very easy to maneuver.Easy to assemble/disassemble.
Easy to remove and maintain/repair tires.
Nice, durable finish (hardly a scratch on it).
Very stable.
Excellent suspension.
Large canopy helps keep out bad weather.
Easy to raise/lower seatback with one hand.
Easy to fold up.
Cons
Very heavy (only an issue as we must bring it up and down stairs. Otherwise the extra weight makes it feel more stabile.)Storage space can be difficult to accesss: While the space is plentiful, if the seat is facing toward the rear, it is next to impossible to get things in and out without removing the seat. On the upside, to remove the seat is extremely easy even with baby inside. There is a wider space for access when the seat faces outward and with a bit of planning and practice I can get a bag of groceries in and out.
