Good for five weeks, doesn't last

Reviewed by: Chris Linnett from Melbourne, Dec 10, 2011

General Review

Tyres popped after five weeks, we then got new tyres and then a piece of the main bassinet broke a week later. We got a brand new verve, however four weeks later I've just checked the tyres and they're a day or two away from bursting again

Pros

10 weeks in and we're about to return it a third time? NONE!

Cons

Terribly made, never buy this pram!

Great design but awful quality control and service

Reviewed by: Victoria from Brisbane, Oct 22, 2011

General Review

We bought the Verve six weeks ago after having our second child. I would not buy this stroller again. Although it is very well designed and nice to use, we have had two major problems and the stroller is currently unusable. First a connecting piece of the bassinet insert snapped and we had to wait a week for a replacement. At least we could still use the stroller, although my newborn had to face forward. Two weeks later the rubber on one of the wheels wore through. On examining the wheels we found that both tires were worn almost through (on a month old stroller). We never used it other than walking on pavement. The company said it was likely the ball bearings and told us they had shipped two new wheels. A week passed and no wheels arrived. We contacted them -- oops, they forgot to ship the wheels! It will be another 5 working days or effectively a week before our stroller has wheels.

Pros

The stroller itself is very nice and easy to use when not broken.

Cons

Bad construction & bad service from the company. Go elsewhere.
