Expensive rubbish. It has broken, collapsed twice whilst my baby was in it.
First the frame fell apart whilst he was in his bassinet at 5 weeks, causing him to be thrown into the side wall, then the right front wheel fell off.
Sounding familliar to anyone?
Pros
Can't think of any that out way the cons.Cons
A DEATH TRAP!!Easily broken.
Big and Bulky
When will IGC admit their mistakes and take this pram, in all it's forms, off the market?
Great Pram! Love it.

We bought our Mio 13 months ago. Our baby was 7 weeks early, so it was so good to have the dedicated basanett for baby. She spent probably more time in it than most babies. We've traded up for a Phil and Teds double pram now, but we're sad to have to get rid of our mio.
It is such a smooth ride. Its centre of gravity is fantastic, making it the most manuverable pram I've seen. The smoothness i believe is due largely to the shock absorbers.
A few cons are that the makers used screws instead of rivots in many key places. These come undone through general use and cause the negative experiences listed above. However, with anything i believe, if it's worth it, you should maintain it.
I tightened all the screws and it was back to good as new! However there are a few screws that shouldn't be tightened between the black seat mount and the shock absorbers. We broke a shock absorber this way.
But, nearly two months after our warrenty expired, we sent the pram back and they fixed it, replaced all the screws with rivots and replaced the sponge handle. For free! Fantastic service.
It's a really light, manuverable, well designed and handy pram.
Pros
light weight, shock absorbers, colours, good centre of gravity/balance, adjustable seat, snuggle sack included, bassanett and chair features. Good wheels. On-going service! Wonderful. Comes with rain cover. Our new double pram is nowhere near as light or manuverable. :(
Cons
Use of screws where rivots should have been used. Slightly wide wheel base, but this adds to it's stability. The fact that you hace to take it apart to put it into a high boot.Love it!!

Absolutely love the look and feel of this pram. I paid about $600 for it 18 months ago. The bassinet is fantastic and I found it much easier to get out and about with my baby in the first few months - she would easily sleep in the bassinet. I love all of the accessories, in particular the sleeping bag attachment. I find I can go out in wet weather with the raincover and sleeping bag as this provides total protection from the rain and wind.Pros
RaincoverSleeping bag
Large basket
Bassinet
Manouverability
Storage pocket behind baby seat
Looks great!!
Cons
Wide rear wheels make it difficult to get through some cash register aisles.Takes up alot of boot space
No toddler seat attachment

we bought the mio without testing any other prams as it glided so well. fortunately for us it has turned out to be a fantastic purchase. I have no problems with it at all, the only thing we have to do is oil the wheels as we live close to the beach and sand has a way of getting in. We get a lot of complements on the way it looks.Pros
*bassinet attachment for new born*easy to maneuver
*easy to pack away in car
*great to look at
*comfy
Cons
*it can be a tad too wide to get through tight spots such as some cash register islesAs Good as and Cheaper than the Bugaboo

I initially read these bad reviews AFTER buying my Mio a year ago and was terrified waiting for it to fall apart. On the contrary, I've had no problems and love it. It's used daily for long walks on all terrain and I've never had any complaints. The multi-position layback is great for when my baby falls asleep, and the reversible carriage is fantastic. He likes to face me on our long boring walks, but faces outwards when we go shopping or somewhere `exciting'. It's also a great size for squeezing into cafes and tight spaces.Pros
Reversible carriageDetachable carriage, lightweight, fits easily into car
Multi-layback positions
Very easy to wipe clean
Adjustable handle for taller people
Cons
Sunshade seems to unclip fairly easily and is a bit fiddly to get back onNowhere to hang nappybag easily if basket is full

I love this pram/stroller. I agree with the others that maybe the earlier bunches were crap (maybe) but have never had a problem with ours. We use it almost everyday. It's also nice that you can use the bassinet and seat separately. It's so comfy for baby that when she falls asleep on the bassinet we just keep her there and she's happy. We got this on special so paid half of the retail price. Yey! So very happy with it.Pros
Bassinet can be used separately at homeEasy to turn/maneuver
Light
Comfy
Cons
takes up most of the boot spaceWorks for me

I'm also interested that others have found the Mio so disappointing. We've had no problems with it, after 16 months of continual use. Maybe a difference in manufacturing lots? The included accessories were wonderful, especially the bassinette and padded liner/sleeping bag.
It has performed well on a range of terrains and is a good option for a larger child with its generous seating proportions.
It seems to be virtually the same as the Esprit Infinity in styling.
Pros
- Large shopping basket- Good steering, small turning circle
- Solid, comfortable seating for a large toddler
- Accessories
Cons
- Takes up a lot of space in the car bootI love it!

I'm sorry to hear that people have had problems with their prams. Mine is brilliant. My baby is almost a year old so have had it for that long. I use it once a week now but to begin with used it every day. We live on a farm so to begin with, I was taking it on gravel and sand tracks every day. You need to keep the wheels oiled but apart from that, no problems there. When we travelled with our baby when he was little, he slept in the pram. It was great having both the bassinet and stroller attachments.
It manouvers around really well with the great swivel wheels at the front.
Pros
Having to pull it apart to put it in the car makes it much lighter - great for women who are super strong. You can actually pack it together so that it doesn't take up that much room in the boot.Bassinett and stroller attachments make life really easy when bub is little and then older - no need for two prams/strollers.
It drives really well.
Cons
It is a touch costly.Being pre-assembled, you don't get any tools to re-screw the odd piece that comes apart. Not every one has an allen key at home in just the right size.
Disappointing!

I must agree with other reviews... this pram MUST be recalled. Can't be a coincidence that we ALL have the same problem. Our front wheel also fell off.. TWICE!Have only had the pram for 6 months and took it out to use about 3 months ago (used maximum of 1xper week) for shopping. Was never used on uneven surfaces.
Pros
Nice to look at (i suppose.. but not $1000 nice!)Large storage space under pram
Cons
Front wheel gave us problems swivelling as of the first time we used the pram. The second week of use, i tried to pull it out of the boot and realised the wheel had falled off and was lying on the road. Husband tried to put it back and it happened a second time.A hassle trying to pull apart and put in the boot.
Being 2 part, it takes up alot of boot space.
Currently trying to return the pram. I urge people NOT to buy this expensive rubbish and anyone who has this problem to return it also.

Pram was purchased for my baby when she was born. I have had it for 6 months and use it very rarely 1-2x per week if that. Frame is very unsteady and has been returned to Melbourne for repair as handle bar broke as I was taking it out of the car one day. The carraige is fraying and I am afraid that as my baby will only get bigger it won't support her weight. What a waste of nearly $1000 for this product. I purchased it in the hope that it will last me with my second child. It doesn't even seem that it will last me for this child as she is only 6kg and it is suppose to support upto 17kg. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRAM. It is a complete waste of money and very frustrating to use!!!! It should be recalled - don't know if it is within our Aussie standards!!!Pros
All pros that were mentioned at the time of purchase have now faded.Cons
1. need to put in the car in 2 parts2. Takes up heaps of boot space
3. very unstable
4. Is suppose to be great for outdoors, but feels like it will fall apart on grass
5. is quite heavy
6. is quite wide and is unhandy in some shopping situations.
