General Review

I have been waiting for this stroller for months to come to the US market. My son just turned 2 and I own 6 strollers by now. I would like to review quinny senzz objectively since I know there are very few reviews out there for consumers. This stroller comes assembled. You just have to snap on the canopy and basket. It is larger then I expected. Weights 16.8 LB on my scale. Easily folded and stowed away. You can view a video on quinny.com.

Pro:
This stroller is everything the picture shows: sturdy; good quality; nice sturdy storage basket accessible from all 4 sides(clearance:6" at front, 5"on the sides, and 6" at back. So it's still hard to squeeze in a thick diaper bag. But this basket is better then most other strollers). Nice carry handle when stroller is folded; stands alone when folded. Air ventilation around head area, which is good for the summer but will be cold for the winter. nice footrest. Big/comfy/supported seat.

Cons:
1)no extendable leg rest for napping child.
2)no cup holder.
3)handle height is approx. 40"(that's good for average to tall people) but is not adjustable.
4)when seat is fully reclined, the sides and head area are open. It will be cold in the winter. But another down side: because the sides are open, my toddler's crazy arms can get in the open sides. His arms got caught in it once when I was pushing the seatback from a flat position to an upright position. This is a safety concern for me. Of course, if your baby/toddler is always still, this won't be a problem.
5)Wheel base is 24" wide. So it will be hard to navigate through narrow doorways. Just to give you an example, my peg perego si and maclaren quest have wheel base that are 22" wide. The 2" difference is huge.
6)push handle is rubberized but is square in shape. It is not as comfortable as a round tubing like other strollers have. Actually, the square edges really bother me.

All in all, quinny senzz has some really good quality including sturdiness/style/quality, easyfold/carry/standing alone and nice basket. But the company needs to make some improvement to make it either a better toddler buggy or a better infant stroller.
To make it a better toddler buggy, they need to 1)drop a couple pounds by reducing the size of the stroller frame 2)reduce the wide wheel base to less then 22" for manuverbility 3) add a snap-on cup holder 4)lower the pushbar handle 1-2 " 5)add wind breakers or mesh on the side to prevent arm entrapment.
I predict this stroller may not sell very well in the us due to the price point and the value. It is a good stroller, but it's not as compact and nimble as other toddler buggies like maclaren. And as a infant stroller, it doesn't have all features that other stroller has, like peg perego si(which is 1 LB heavier). It weights 16.8 LB, in between a nimble toddler buggy and a full-sized infant stroller. Also, this stroller folds easily and is easy to carry for city dweller, BUT, the stroller frame and wheel base is too large for city dwellers. And the company really has to do something with the open sides of the stroller.

This may still be a good stroller for you if the pros outweigh the cons for you or if you are looking for a "in-between" stroller. Good luck!
