Fantastic

Reviewed by: Natasha from Australia, May 16, 2008

General Review

As a mum of 3 i have had many prams and many failures with alot of my purchases except for the INFINITY. It is simply superb.

Pros

Comfortable, large seat that can be faced to or away from you, Adjustable handle bar, seat can be removed and used as a bassinett on the floor for small babies, large rear tyre great for all-terrain, front swivel wheels for manourverability, great price and quality. heaps of extras, machine washable fabric and the BEST part the way the seat reclines like a bike brake, so you can have it at any angle you like. I even still used this until my daughter was 2 1/2.

Cons

Folds down and still is quite big

Great buy love it! hard replace!

Reviewed by: Joanna from Staffordshire, Feb 21, 2008

General Review

I brought the full system (car seat, carry cot & stroller seat) before my son was born in Dec 06. I love the fact the buggy was so light to steer, turn it on a penny as I say, really was a god send after a c-section! We did have to send it back to manufacturer's after a front joint broke, but got it back in 3 days. I do think this was my fault tho as I wasn't light handed with it when going up the double step to my mum's house. Other than that I have loved and still do love it! It is heavy to carry, is bulky once pulled down and does not collasp (have to remove stroller, carry cot or car seat before folding the frame).

Pros

Easy steering,
Comfortable/movable handle
Comfortable for baby,
Easy to recline
Excellent rear or forward facing!
Excellent over rough ground

Cons

Heavy & bulky once dismantled
Can't find a better bugger to replace it.

Pros

great steering
easy to fold
fold in one piece and locks together.
reversable!

Cons

smallish basket...hood could be a bit bigger and seat could sit a little higher! otherwise its great!

so far so good...

Reviewed by: Lan from Sydney, Nov 26, 2007

General Review

Generally really like this pram - i've been using it for 4 months now and have just swapped from the bassinet to the seat. The bassinet was lovely - good height level and kept bubba snug and cosy. Easy to detach from frame. Downside was no carry handles made it difficult to transport. The seat so far has been great, being able to have my son facing in or out. I agree the canopy is perhaps a bit too small for adequate shade, but the full angle adjustability is actually a plus over other types of larger canopies that can't be moved.

Nothing so far has fallen off as many reviews have said - however, I agree the frame perhaps isn't the most robust it could be - there is some movement in the bottom frame joints and I wonder how long it might be before it gives up the ghost. The basket is indeed very small and only good for one bag or a couple of blankets. It's also not particularly light and a bit clunky to have to collapse and takes up some room. But, that aside, it seems to be a great comfy ride for the little one, and easy to manouvre, turns on a penny and is easy to get on an off public transport.
I guess time will tell if any wheels fall off in months to come!

Pros

great looking
comfy ride for bubs
easy to steer and joy to walk with
multiple reclining positions

Cons

Hard to collapse for car boot
Small basket
A bit 'wobbly' in the frame

Excellent Pram

Reviewed by: babyandi from Australia, Oct 27, 2007

General Review

My sister purchased this pram for me after much research and it has been great. I loved the bassinet insert, great for a small baby and really warm in winter. The stroller attachment is really easy to use and the sleeping bag is ideal for a winter bubba. In the summer sun the hood sometimes is not big enough but with some adjustments to the angle and a hat it keeps baby out of the sun. Overall excellent pram and great price.

Pros

*sleeping bag insert included
*easilly foldable
*bright colours
*very easy to stear
*sturdy

Cons

*small basket
*needs sunshade

Hasn't lasted months

Reviewed by: Cheri from New Zealand, Oct 20, 2007

General Review

I have had this pram for almost a year now, and used the bassinett for the first 6 months so have only osed the seat for 6 months and it has started coming apart at the seams.. literally.
I have to say that in the beginning I was very happy with it and thought it was worth a full 5 stars.. if only it was built to last.
The hoods seams have frayed, the front wheel is acting like a shopping trolleys wheels, the clips to the seat get stuck on the basket when unfolding making it VERY difficult to unfold when it happens, the harness straps were not assembled properly so they losen easily, there is a funny little head rest hood that is too floppy and gets in the way and makes it very difficult to get the sleeping bag accessory to hook on.

Pros

* you can have baby face you or out
* handled great to start with
* Looked nice

Cons

* Hood stiching frayed away
* front wheels could do the shopping trolly thing
* tiny basket
* quite bulky when folded
* gets hooked on basket when unfolding
* built really cheaply, and does not last

Not as good as it should be

Reviewed by: Annabel Chiccaro from London, UK, Sep 24, 2007

General Review

I bought the Hauck Infinity as it looked like a cheaper version of the Bugaboo and had rave reviews all over the net, not to mention it is a German make which normally means good quality. I bought the package that includes the carrycot and pushchair seat for £299 in the UK. After only six months, half the screws were falling out and the pushchair practically fell apart with my baby in it in the street! For that price I expect it to last a lot longer. Also, you need to take it apart completely (including removing the wheels) in order to put it in a standard car boot. It has a tiny and completely inaccessible basket which is basically unusable. If I had the choice I wouldn't buy it again and I will shortly be putting it on ebay once I have the replacement screws.

Pros

Looks like the Bugaboo.

Cons

Very small and impractical basket.
Need to take it completely apart and fold it to put it into a standard car boot.
Fell apart after only 6 months.

General Review

Ok to be honest, this pram cost me $199.
Now, for $199, it is a great pram.
I got bright pink which is funky for my DD, I love the recline, I love the reversible seat, I love the multi position handle and the smooth ride.
The steering is always really great.
However, I do find it a bit 'tinny' at times on uneven surfaces, and sounds like something tin like is going to fall off. The first day I pushed it on bitumen, a pop rivet [I think] fell off!!!
I didn't expect it to be a Bug though, there is just no comparison.
But, this pram looks great, steers well and is a real head turner in pink, so it's fun!

Pros

*Steers well
*Good suspension overall
*Great layback features
*nice how it comes with the footmuff
*Great colours!
*headturning- everyone stops to comment!
*reversible seat so baby can face you
*super easy to fold

Cons

*Not overly keen on the harness system, crotch strap needs to be lowered IMO
*Sounds 'tinny' and plasticky when on uneven surfaces like broken paths and bitumen
*no where to hang my bag
*very small shoppers basket and shopping bags get ripped on the seat clips
*bit bulky in the boot!

General Review

I bought this after reading many reviews, some good some bad. I bought it when it was on such a great special I just had to get it. My little girl is 5 months so we have finished with the bassinet, which I absolutely loved. Kept her nice and warm through the cold months and was great for tucking my purse and phone down the bottom of. Also love the little storage pocket at the foot end, great for keys. We are now using the seat with the sleeping bag insert. My daughter is lovely and warm and we get many comments on how snug she looks. The easy recline is fantastic, especially when the are already asleep as it reclines so smoothly and doesn't disturb them. I haven't had the seat facing forward yet but love the fact you can have forward facing and facing toward you. The way the handle folds down to get out of the road is one of the best features, I fold it down often to keep it out of my and others way in shops.

Pros

Easy Recline
Fold Down Handle
Design looks great
Bassinet
Sleeping bag insert and rain cover included
Forward and rear facing seat

Cons

Basket fairly small
Wheels sometimes hard to steer when not straight
These 2 things are the only reason I only gave 4 stars.

love this pram, my daughter is now 14 months old and it is still as good as new despite being used on lots of long walks as well as local shopping every day. (we don't have a car)

Pros

lots of handy features -
* easily manoueverable seat (reclines , turns around to face parent or outwards)
* nice and high for tall people, but the handle adjusts easily also to accommodate height.
* moveable sun shade - very handy and reduces need for separate sunshade
* came with a winter cosy zip up cover and rain/wind cover.
* looks very attractive, get lots of comments and questions about it.
*reasonable price, about half that of bugaboo but seems just as good to me
*easy to clean
*very easy to move around and get in and out of shops etc

Cons

cannot think of any really.... sometimes the brake does come down but i think something needs tightening.

Otherwise yes it was a fantastic buggy for its very short life. Am really sad it died on me!

Pros

Easy to recline and fold
Bonus that it can be rear or forward facing

We have used it nearly everyday, however the brake has come loose and dones't work, bolts are undoing theirselves and falling off and today the frame has snapped at the bottom!! It has been inconvenient up until now, but now it is unusable.

Pros

Cons

Wonderful pram

Reviewed by: JadensMommy from New Zealand, Jan 04, 2007

General Review

My husband was against buying this pram/stroller, he didn't like the look of the front wheels - but now he LOVES it and is always the one pushing it where ever we go.
The handling of this pram is great, shop isles are no hassle, and it can turn on a dime. You could honestly manouver an obstacle course one handed with the way this handles.

My wee boy is only 6 weeks old at the moment, so we are still using the bassinet and its wonderful.

We also got one of those standard 'stroller caddy' attachments that fit onto the hadle bar of any stroller, and it has all these great little pockets that can hold your drink, wallet cell phone etc. and it fits this stroller perfectly.

I would definately reccomend the Infinity to those thinking about it!

Pros

* So easy to Drive and handle
* So So So easy to fold up and unfold (you can unfold it with one hand!!)
* looks great
* all the fabric parts can be removed and machine washed (SUCH A GREAT FEATURE!)
* Pram/stroller width is not as wide as most others so getting through isles and crowds is so much easier
* Baby can face you of face out
* Has a bassinett so baby can lay flat, then a seat attachment for when baby gets older.
* Built in Sespension in the back wheels

Cons

* Basket is on the small side
* Can be short of boot space when using the bassinet, unless you collapse the bassinet first.

Love this stylin' pram

Reviewed by: Michelle from Albany WA, Nov 16, 2006

General Review

I absolutely hated the look of this pram from the moment I saw it. My husband convinced me to take it for a "test drive" around the store which I reluctantly did.
Oh My Gosh !!!!!!! This baby rocks !!!! I was sold from the moment I laid my hands on it....... the look of it took a while to get used to, but after pushing this thing around the store at a running pace (I like to jog) and a walking pace, then folding it down & lifting it up in two pieces & in one piece at 8mths pregnant ! was completely sold on this pram. It is extremely versatile, looks great, turns with no effort and is so easy to store.
I LOVE IT !!!!!!

Pros

Great bassinette, great stroller part, fantastically warm sleeping bag, compact, very light, stylish, very affordable (compared to the bugaboo) my son loves it to bits !!

Cons

basket beneath is way too small for my needs.
Would be great if they designed a toddler seat to fit over the stroller part for when baby #2 arrives.

Great

Reviewed by: Tim from Bath, England, Jul 12, 2006

General Review

This is a great buggy/pram. We had been tempted to buy a bugaboo which I admit is a very nice system. The Hauck infinity is much much cheaper and although it is slightly different, I think that it is better than the Bugaboo

Pros

- very well constructed

- all of the fabric parts come off and are machine washable which is better than the bugaboo

- will callapse with the seat in the outward facing position which the Bugagboo will not do.

- very cosy (designed in Germany for contenential winters)

- The push handle is comfortable and hight adjustable (not all Bugaboo models have this feature)

- another reviewer complains that you can't strap baby into carry cot. It is true no straps are provided, but there are D rings under the matress that you can clip a standard harness to.

Cons

- shopping bashet is small

- unlike the Bugaboo you can't swing the handle over baby to chnage pushing position from forward to rearfacing. Also you can't change whether you lead with big or samll wheels

Unbelievably easy!

Reviewed by: Peach from Melbourne, Australia, May 07, 2006

General Review

At first I thought its just like the old 4 wheel pram in the market. But after had my hand on it, love it! Its unbelievably easy to 'drive'. Honestly I never really feel like pushing a pram, its like I just walk with it, It doesnt take much effort at all. I can just push it around with one hand along the aisle in supermarket.

Comes in two bits - the carriage and the frame. You have to pull them apart if you have in the 'baby fave you' position. But dont let this bother you because they are so easily attach/detach with two buttons. I do feel like a hassle when i first found out that it has to come off in two bits but after try it myself, its not much trouble at all. In fact, its much lighter and easier to seperate them both to put in the car boot. If you use it for awhile, you can do it with your foot in a blink of an eye :)

It does look very similar to bugaboo but much more affordable! So if you like Bugaboo but doesnt want to spend that much $$, this Infinity pram is definitly the best option!!

Tips :

Bassinette bit not necessary from my opinion because the carriage can go flat and the sleeping bag is comfortable enough for newborn.

Bought ours for $599 at Toys r us using PlayBy, great if you not ready to spend the LOT at once

Make sure you have a hands on in this pram, check it out for yourself the you'll sure to brag about it all your life LOL

Pros

Oh my god there's so many!!

- easy to steer
- compact, not bulky
- baby can face you or out
- fantastic accesories comes in the price (love the sleeping bag)
- nice bright colour, stylish design
- seat recline smoothly use a handbrake system, any position you want with no clicking sounds like most prams. Love this because I can recline the seat to flat smoothly without waking my baby.

Cons

1. Small basket

2. Hood doesnt cover much but after few tricks I found a better way to deal with it I adjust
the hood forward/backward as much as I need to cover baby from sun as I walk. The only thing is the head side will be uncovered but not really a big problem to me honestly if you look at other pros this fantastic pram has.
- heard that its not for jog or run. more suitable for walks.

this is my third pram. the other two were three wheelers and i hated their bulk, and the fact that i couldn't see my baby. i really liked the look of the bugaboo, but there was no way i was going to pay fifteen hundred bucks on a pram. i had resigned myself to carrying my little giant everywhere in a sling, when i saw this pram. i adore it! so compact, can turn a full 360 degrees from a single point, baby sleeps better in the seat when it's fully reclined than he sleeps in his cot. i didn't even bother with the bassinette. also, everywhere i go people comment on how stylin' it is. love it. love it, love it, love it.

Pros

turns on a dime. faces either front or back. affordable. stylin'. light. compact. my baby likes it.

Cons

not quite enough storage. i added an allerhand stroller bag to the handle, which helps, but i wish the basket were bigger. i also really wish that the car seat attachment i have seen online in the uk were available in australia. i would buy it in a heartbeat.
