Overall: We bought this pram because it was so lightweight and compact compared to others on the market. It was ideal and easy to maneuver when we first started to use it but it wasn't long before we started having problems with it. After 4 months of use the wheels started to lock whilst steering our baby. They became very sticky and the unit would stop turning all together. This caused the stroller to almost tip over on several occasions. In my opinion it quickly became unsafe and the stroller maneuverability quickly turned from easy to ridiculously hard (like turning a bus). It took a toll on my wrists too. We made a warranty claim where the distributor decided to repair the pram. I waited 2 weeks without a replacement before I got it back. It came back in worse condition (the wheels were not fixed) and had received numerous new scratches on the chassis (it looked like it had been thrown around). I made a complaint to the store and the distributor agreed to give me a new chassis. I used the new chassis with no further problems for almost 5 months before I started to experience the same problems. I also started to experience problems with the seat where it would not stay locked into a fully upright position causing my daughter to fall back into a fully reclined position. I then made a another warranty claim and asked the distributor for a full refund as the problem seemed to be a design flaw and would keep happening. I have also read a lot of other reviews about other people experiencing the same problems. The distributor did not respond but just sent me a brand new stroller. I am very dissatisfied with this and am in the process of having the safety of this stroller tested by the local consumer affairs authority. Do not buy this stroller! If you are also experiencing problems with your Urbo. Please visit the Facebook page titled: "Mamas & Papas Urbo Stroller is unsafe. It should be recalled". Like the page then write the problems you have had with it on the wall so that we can get mamas & papas to acknowledge the problems.

great looking pram. light weight rear/forward facing. Had the urbo less than three months and the front right wheel locking switch began to lock on when ever i hit a slight bump, returned to mamas and papas for a repair but within days after getting the pram back the problem started again. After a replacement chassis and a couple of months on, the front right wheel began to buckle and jam side on. Whilst crossing the road the wheel jammed side ways and i had to drag the pram accross the road. The pram looks great but as the baby grows and more weight is put in the pram it began to feel like i was pushing a shopping trolley around. Every tiny kirb was hard to get up and any bumps would make the pram rock quite badly as there is no suspension. Once the second chassis began to have problems i had lost all faith in the pram. i am now left with car seat adapters and foot muff for this pram as they are purchased seperatelyPros
looks great, lightweight, lies flat and is compactCons
problems with front wheel locking clips and then with the wheel buckling. It is definately not suitable for off road or bumpy surfaces. Once baby grows and more weight is placed on the chassis it is like pushing a shopping trolley around, which becomes hard work. The Urbo is a fab pram with minor imperfections.

I purchased this in October 2010 when I saw it on line. Fell in love with it's sleek, modern look and it met my criteria for a light pram. Buy bassinet for newborns as mine wasn't comfy in flat laying seat. very easy to push and steer. Add ins limited for purchase in Australia.Pros
Lightweight - 9 kgsZippy to push and manuoevre, and narrow for most aisles.
Stylish looking although I find the tacky grey plastic that is the back of the seat very cheap looking.
Cons
Mine is 2 handed to close and open and has stroppy 'clips' that are hard to move sometimes. Basket storage is minimal; bassinet is expensive but my newborn never settled well in the flat lying pram.Love my Urbo!

The stroller is great for the urban parent who uses mass transit occasionally. It is relatively lightweight, easy to fold/unfold, easy to push, and roomy seat. We plan on using it for walks, shopping, etc. You could use it on the subway but I wouldn't use it on the bus.It is incredibly easy to reverse the seat, add the carrycot, or car seat adapter - one of the easiest I have seen on the market. It also seems to stand by itself when folded - great for me to stick in the closet for storage.
The basket is small but doable for urban living - not if you plan on storing a ton of things in the stroller. You do need 2 hands to fold the stroller but I only need 1 hand to unfold which is great.
We also got the carrycot which seems nice and sturdy but it was a little expensive.
Overall it is my favorite full time stroller for long walks and daily needs.
Pros
Relatively lightweightReversible reclining seat
Option for carrycot
Large canopy
Adjustable handles
Easy to maneuver
Cons
Need 2 hands to foldSmall under seat basket
Can't fold it with seat facing rear - need to put it forward facing
