CityGrips Giveaway
05th June, 2012, 11.49am ESTWe are very pleased to be giving way 3 sets of CityGrips handlebar grip covers! CityGrips were invented by Camie Gontier, a mum in the US who thought up the idea of handlebar covers one day when pushing a stroller with particularly dirty handles.
CityGrips attach to the stroller's handlebar using velcro, and provide a soft, clean and easily washable surface for your hands.
As well as protecting your hands, CityGrips protect the original handlebar from wear and tear, and of course CityGrips provide a bit of colour to your stroller. They come in two sizes to fit strollers with a single, or double handlebar, and a range of vibrant colours (or just plain black if that's more your thing!).
If you'd like to win one of 3 sets of CityGrips, just hop on over to the Strollers and Prams Facebook page, make sure you 'like' the page, and enter using the Promotions app. Competition closes June 30.

New Bugaboo Cameleon3
05th June, 2012, 10.43am ESTBugaboo have just announced the third generation of the highly successful Cameleon stroller, the Cameleon3. The changes are really tweaks to the current model, however Cameleon users will appreciate that they are definitely improvements that will make this great stroller even better.
- Refreshed design The previously silver central joint has a matt black finish
- Easy unfolding The Cameleon frame will open out and click into place with a lift of the handle, which is a great improvement on the current model which requires quite an unusual manoevre to open and only locks once the seat unit is in place.
- More durable chassis Due to structural changes at the connecting plastic joints and inner aluminium tubing.
- Easy to release wheels White buttons on the rear wheels replace the fiddly release wires and the front wheels also get quick release buttons.
- Flat fold bassinet The bassinet now has a quick and easy mechanism to fold it flat which does not require disassembly of the unit.
- One hand release bassinet Because parents don't always have two hands free!
- Padded adjustable harness The harness will have a sliding adjust mechanism and will no longer need to be rethreaded.
- 6-step height adjustable handlebar
- Maximized underseat bag A slightly larger basket will attach to the frame with press studs instead of velcro.
The Cameleon3 is due out in September 2012 and will retail for $1399 AUD

The Safe-n-Sound Compaq has been reviewed!
04th June, 2012, 10.30am ESTAlly has just finished her in depth review of the new Safe-n-Sound Compaq convertible car seat. The Compaq has always been a great option for parents who need to squeeze a car seat into a small car, or for parents who need to put three seats across the back (which can be a struggle even in large cars).
The latest version of the Compaq has so many additional features it would be a great option for any parent regardless of the size of their car. Have a read through Ally's review to find out why she has been so impressed with this seat (and it's not just because it's purple!).

Mountain Buggy Joey
31st May, 2012, 1.02pm ESTMountain Buggy have released images of the 'Joey', a storage basket that sits in place of one of the seats on both of Mountain Buggy's side by side double models - the Duo and the super narrow Duet.
The Joey allows the Duo or Duet to be used as a single stroller with an abundance of storage when both seats are not in use. This might be before the arrival of a sibling, or when one child no longer needs to ride. Or, since the Duet is the same width as a single Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle, it might just be a great permanent setup!
The Joey can be used with the one seat, bassinet, or car seat attached, and contains an internal tote bag which can be quickly and easily lifted out of the Joey when it's time to unpack the buggy. The Joey is due out mid June and will retail in Australia for $45.

InfaSecure Luxi Crown 0 - 8 review
30th May, 2012, 12.23pm ESTAlly has just finished road testing the InfaSecure Luxi Crown 0 - 8 car seat, and she has been very impressed with this seat. The Luxi Crown is the first car seat in Australia to take children from birth until they are approximately 8 years old (depending on size and weight of the child), converting from a rear facing seat, to a forward facing seat, and then to a booster.
Follow the link below to read Ally's full review and find out all you'll ever need to know about this seat!

Bugaboo Winter Accessories
22nd May, 2012, 10.43am ESTIt may not technically be winter in Australia yet, but if you're living in Melbourne you might agree it's close enough to require warm clothing and accessories to keep bubs warm when out and about. And if you're out and about with a Bugaboo, then the range of Bugaboo winter accessories will suit perfectly.
The Bugaboo accessory range includes a water repellant footmuff featuring a breathable bamboo charcoal fibre which helps regulate temperature and humidity effects, a cocoon which fits both the Cameleon and the Bee and also features the charcoal bamboo fibre, and the rough terrain wheels which help to navigate off road and on slippery streets.
The Bugaboo winter accessories are available in a range of colours. Check out the Bugaboo retail locator to find your closest retailer.

New 2012 colours for Combi Miracle Turn
14th May, 2012, 1.15pm ESTThe new 2012 Combi Miracle Turn colours will be arriving in Australian stores very soon. Combi strollers are well known for being ultra-lightweight and the Miracle Turn is no exception at just 6.5kg.
The magic of the Miracle Turn, however, is the way the back wheels automatically lock and the front wheels switch to swivel mode every time the handle is reversed. Anyone who's ever had to kneel on the ground to manually lock and unlock wheels after reversing a stroller handle (or worse still - had to push a stroller with the front wheels locked!) will appreciate what a clever concept this is.
The features of the Miracle Turn have not changed for 2012, however it will now come in Mocha and Purple.

Images of upcoming Cosatto Giggle 3-in-1
07th May, 2012, 1.27pm ESTI have posted illustrations before of the upcoming Cosatto model, the Giggle, but this is the first time I've spotted an image of the actual pram. I have to admit I wasn't so sure about the coloured frame in the illustrations, but I love it on the real thing!
The Giggle pictured is in 'Sunny'. It will also come in 'Treet' and the very popular Golightly. Pre-orders are now being taken on UK sites for delivery from June. If these are anywhere near as popular as the Yo! Golightly I would recommend putting an order in asap.

The Steelcraft Infant Carrier has been reviewed!
03rd May, 2012, 11.00am ESTIt wasn't so long ago that Australian parents were lamenting the lack of 'travel systems' available on the Australian market. Whilst parents overseas were clicking their capsules out of the car and into their prams, there was nothing like this available here.
Thankfully times have changed, and there are now a number of capsules on the market which will click into the frame of a pram for those times when bubs is asleep and in the car when you arrive at your destination.
The Steelcraft Infant Carrier is one these options available to Australian parents. It clicks quickly and easily out of the car and onto the Steelcraft Strider Plus and the Agile and Agile Twin strollers, making life that much easier for parents of young babies.
Ally has reviewed the Steelcraft Infant Carrier and included some great photos of the capsule in action (including some of her precious passenger!).
