I know that it is a long short but has any one got or seen a pattern to make hoods / liners / foot muffs for a bugaboo - frog? It is just for my own personal use :)

I know that I could make a pattern but I just can not find the time.

If anyone is still interested, I have just drafted a pattern for a Frog hood, and am about to draft a liner for it too :D Getting some fabric in the morning to try it out, so will post with the result before I offer either pattern or hoodmaking

Ok here is my pimped Frog  I have done the liner like a topping with seat pad attached. So it slips over the back of the seat, and the seat pad can be over the seat or tucked under :D I'm really happy with the fit :D The hood is pretty good, but the back panel is a little baggy - so I'm going to re-do that bit. I've also included a pic of froggy wearing one of my standard liners, which is a great fit too.

Anyone want to share their frog hood pattern with me? I don't have a frog hood to draft one off myself, but I bought some off-white chambray today, which I think, doubled, will make a nice weight hood (I could always line it with some wadding too).
I pulled out my unfinished cammy liner yesterday, put it in both the frog & cammy to check sizing, then put it away again  I'm hoping I can get all this unfinished stuff out of the way over summer :)

My hood pattern still needs a little work, Lulupie's sits much better :) I am happy to copy my pattern for you or can send you the hood bits that I used to make a pattern (just a old hood I unpicked) I would just ask that if I sent you the hood you returned it :)

Either is no problem, I'd definitely return it :) I have to sort out my cotton & stuff first, so I might leave it for a week & pop back in when I'm ready. Maybe I should finish the liner first  I just need to put the binding on, & sew "button holes" for the straps to got thru. My mother is coming again on Friday, so I might get a chance away from the marauding horde that is Seth to finish it

I am happy to send you a copy of my hood pattern :D I am in NZ so it may be quicker from Kirst, but whatever suits - I'm happy to share. Just send a PM with your address details if you want me to :D

I have just discovered I've stuffed up my parenting payment details, so am a little poor at the moment  so no new sewing for me right now.

Once I've sorted it though, I'll be looking for hood patterns & basket measurements. I'm thinking I could make up a denim one, as the seat fabric is incredibly faded, so the denim should mix well :)
