Silver Cross Dazzle to arrive in the US soon.

As well as the black, those in the US will be able to choose from blue, tangerine, and this fabulous 'neon pink'. Unfortunately the carrycot and footmuff will not be available in the US. The Dazzle will retail for USD $299 and pre-orders are being taken now from tots on-the-go.

New slimmer UPPAbaby VISTA now shipping in the US.
04th December, 2007, 11.11pm GMTEric from PeppyParents.com reports that UPPAbaby have responded to feedback about their VISTA stroller being too wide by shaving two inches off the width of the stroller. This has been achieved with the introduction of slimmer rear wheels and modified wheel hubs, leaving the rest of the stroller unchanged. 26th November, 2007, 12.00pm GMTThis long anticipated addition to the Phil & Teds line-up has several advantages over the Sport model, including an aluminium frame which makes it lighter, an improved recline mechanism, the relocation of the brake to the handlebar, superior hood with built in sun shield, and a larger basket. Perhaps most significantly, the Vibe will fold in one piece, even with the doubles seat attached in the rear position. Valco 'Boy Meets Girl" limited edition twin trimod

Now, more than two years later, a tri-mode version is about to hit the market. This twin Tri-mode will sell as a limited release in the United States for $825 and is expected to ship in late November.

Bugaboo Cameleon Special Edition Metallic Silver
26th November, 2007, 11.29am GMTBugaboo have released this special edition Metallic Silver Cameleon to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the upmarket US department store Neiman Marcus. The special collection Cameleon features a dark grey base and metallic sliver tailored set (including seat inlay, canopy and bassinet apron). Also included is a special edition cup holder and black microfleece blanket. The Bugaboo site lists the release date as November, although the Neiman Marcus site indicates pre-orders are available for shipment in early December. The RRP is $1,199 USD.

With a seat that reclines to flat, and a one piece fold, it provides real competition to similar designs on the market. Perhaps the most significant change is the aluminium frame which will make the stroller 20% lighter. The brake has been relocated to the handlebar for easier access, the canopy is larger and the attachment system for the doubles kit has been redesigned. 17th April, 2007, 5.01pm GMTRumor has been circulating for several weeks about Bugaboo's new stroller -the Bugaboo Bee. Now Time.com have a photo of the new lightweight stroller. Unofficial reports are that the Bee will have a reversible seat and fold in one piece. It will reportedly retail for more than US$500 and be available the United States in September.

Bugaboo to release new Cameleon fabric options.
02nd April, 2007, 4.42pm GMTAccording to the European retailer Baby Trader, Bugaboo will be releasing an alternative to the Cameleon's fleece tailored fabric. The new tailored fabric will more closely resembled that of the base fabric, and will be available in off-white, brown, sand, red and black. Baby Trader list the availability date as the 1st of May, and are already taking orders on their website.

Bugaboo cup holder now available!
01st April, 2007, 4.42pm GMTBugaboo have finally released a cup holder that will fit all Bugaboo models. The cup holder attaches to the handle of the stroller and can easily be adjusted so that drinks stay level even when going up and down steep hills. The Bugaboo cup holder retails for US$24.95.

New for 2007 -Phil & Ted's SPORT Buggy released

New features include a new push button mechanism for adjusting the handle, quick release rear wheels, an improved child harness and a zip recline in the double's seat. Bertini release the X2 and X4 in Australia!
13th February, 2007, 3.01pm GMTBertini have released two prams from their long anticipated new range in Australia, and report that the remaining models will follow shortly. The new range consists of a seat unit that can be added to any of the four pram frames, as well as to a highchair and rocker frame. A carseat can also be purchased to fit into the different frames (at this stage only for use in the US and New Zealand). The range comes in fabulous bright colours and is set for US release in the coming months.

Bugaboo warn against over inflating tyres.
16th May, 2006, 12.29pm GMTIn a recent statement on their website Bugaboo have warned consumers not to over inflate the tyres on their Frog, Gecko and Cameleon strollers. Bugaboo express concern over the "comfort, safety and wellbeing" of their consumers, and claim to be investigating ways of sending a pressure meter to all Bugaboo owners so as to prevent the occurence of what they describe as "hazardous situations". Emmaljunga introduce swivel wheels!

Mutsy Spider available April 2006
22nd February, 2006, 9.41pm GMTApril will see the release of Mutsy's super compact stroller, the Spider. Like the Zapp, the Spider folds into a carry bag, however it also comes complete with an adjustable handle, reclining seat and under seat basket. The added extras come at a cost though. According to Babystyle.co.uk the the Spider will weigh 8.4kg or 18.5 lbs.

17th December, 2005, 7.39pm GMTMountain Buggy Australia and New Zealand have split the Urban range into 2 models. Both will have an extra tall canopy, however the new Urban 'Elite' will also have rear shock absorbers. The Elite will also come with a napy bag and seat liner included. The standard Urban will now come in a (muted) two tone colour scheme. The Urban Elite is in stores now and retails for AUD $790.

Quinny Buzz gets an upgrade for 2006

The 2006 model will also come standard with a basket (available for purchase separately for those with the 2005 model). The new Buzz should be available at the end of this year in the Europe and early next year in Australia.

Phil & Teds have a twin
02nd October, 2005, 1.41pm GMTThe company that pioneered the inline double jogger has stepped into the side by side market. The Phil & Teds twin is 74cm wide and weighs 17kg. Unlike the single version this stroller will not take extra kids on the back. According to Phil & Teds this stroller is now available in Australia and the UK, and will be released to the US soon.
